[6/19/2026] University of Cincinnati Fight Song "Cheer Cincinnati"

I realized yesterday that UC's band auditions were in a week and a half so I realized that I should probably start learning the music lol. I haven't played piccolo in a good month and a half so here's a clip of the fight song which is actually kinda hard. I still need to smooth out some of the runs but I think it's mostly fine. Enjoy me doing the shout sections too 💀💀 # voicereveal

I am excited to announce that I will be attending the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati in Fall 2026 to study Music Education and Flute Performance with Professor @sooyunkimflute! I am extremely grateful that I will be able to attend this extraordinary institution on a full ride. I would like to thank my family, my flute teachers Randy and Phyllis Hester, my high school band director Sara Loney, Professor Katherine Borst Jones at The Ohio State University, and all of my friends and colleagues that have supported me in my journey. The college audition process was extremely difficult to manage and I am grateful for everyone that has helped me through this process. Thank you guys so much for being with me through this journey and Go Bearcats!!

Music Theory Composition Assignment!!!

I actually really like this composition. I think it went pretty well and it sounds fire 😛😛 Also my flute is trying to fight me rn with its mechanism and intonation and I lwk need to get a new flute. I might get a new one this summer if I somehow magically get more money. Idk we'll see

[3/5/2026] Chorale and Shaker Dance by John Zdechlik

Some more clips from our pre-contest concert! This is WNHS Wind Ensemble's first year competing at OMEA Large Group in Class A and this is the piece we're playing off the required list. We still have a lot to work on before contest, but I think this performance went pretty well!

[3/5/2026] Clown Act Part 2 ft. saxes and barking 😧

This piece was pretty fun to learn. Our band is playing this for OMEA Large Group Contest and my band director didn't want to do a typical march, so we picked this whimsical march! Hope you enjoy!
