Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra Year 1! Playing full orchestral repertoire has been one of my favorite musical experiences. It has gotten me to explore other types of music instead of just band music. The orchestra has grown tremendously over this past season and I'm very grateful to have taken part in it. Thank you so much for all the opportunities that CSYO has provided me. I wanna give a huge shout-out to the flute section for carrying the orchestra 💪💪 @_charliecheng @ew_its_rosie @ethanpugh250 (i can't tag max 😪) Repertoire in order of post: Carlos Zamora - Sikuris (11/8/23) Rimsky-Korsakov - Scheherazade (x2) (11/8/23) Holst - The Planets (Jupiter) (12/10/23) Mozart - Bassoon Concerto in Bb (12/10/23) Mahler - Symphony No. 1 (3/3/24)

OSU Honor Band 2025!! This weekend was absolutely amazing. The rehearsals might have been a little long and tiring but it was still fun. I am really fortunate to have had the opportunity to play challenging and intricate music with these amazing musicians. It was really fun hanging out with you guys and I hope that we'll see each other again in the future. I am also glad to have worked with Dr. Mikkelson and KBJ this weekend. These teachers are absolutely fabulous and great to work with. Anyways, enjoy some clips from the concert! Music: Henry Fillmore - The Footlifter Julie Giroux - Symphony No. 6, "The Blue Marble" I.
