There are countless things that make us feel alive in fly fishing. But I think we all share the same emotion when a beautiful nose breaks the surface to take a drifting fly. That moment of surprise, especially when you least expect it, stays magical every single time.

Between guiding trips and the opening of the Discovery Lodge in the Jura (France), we haven’t had much time to share our fishing stories… And as always, we prefer to post with a little delay. 😁

The first two anglers to try out the concept: Seb and JB, who many of you know as the organizers of the RISE Festival France.

They came to take on the challenge of our demanding rivers, with one clear goal in mind: to fool a wild beauty from the river Ain.

Mission accomplished for both of them. ✅
A perfect cast from JB, who landed a truly stunning trout on a dry fly.

Fishing conditions weren’t easy, short windows of activity and finicky fish but they never gave up.
Well done, guys, and thank you for your trust! 🙏

For those who want to live the experience, the Lodge is ideally located: just 5 minutes from the river Ain, 40 minutes from the Loue, 45 from the Bienne, and 1h15 from the Dessoubre.
