It’s hard to put into words what it feels like to hold this Permit, a silver ghost — a fish I’ve chased in many places and waters! Through patience and just getting out there over and over, and all the challenges that come with fishing this fish, when that one opportunity finally came together it was pure magic.
One of the holy grails of fly fishing, and a moment I won’t forget anytime soon. Massive shoutout to my friend Vitto for making this happen, and our guide Luis and the whole crew at Grand Slam Fly Fishing Lodge. @grandslam_mexico @luis.antemate.319 @vittok1er @choonaclothing @natepreator

The take never gets old. That split second when it all comes together — the cast, the drift, the eat — is where I feel closest to God’s creation. Add a buddy @sameolt next to you in the river, and you’ve got a legit good day. Come experience it with Fly House Fishing, now offering fly casting classes. Send us a message and we’ll get you lined out. Details coming soon. 🎣

Creating a space for something bigger than us 💭✨

We’re in the middle of turning an idea into something real… patch by patch, step by step. This isn’t just about opening a fly fishing shop—it’s about building a place where people feel welcome, connected, and inspired to get outside, experience something meaningful and make memories with awesome people!

We’re a couple chasing another vision, sharing as we go, putting in the work now so this space can give back in a bigger way later. And honestly… we’re just getting started.

If you’ve ever built something from the ground up, you know—it’s not always pretty, but it’s always worth it.

We want you along for the ride 🛠️ follow us @flyhousefishing
What would you want in a space like this? All my people who fish or want to learn, we want to lean what you want and need! 👇

Trigger trigger tigger, can’t you see, sometimes your looks just hypnotize me! Such an epic eat and hard earned after having so many shots and refusals by other triggers. You definitely earn these fellas! Peach-face Trigger.

🇲🇽Where paradise meets fly fishing 🏝️

Still dreaming about our trip to @grandslam_mexico — this place is seriously bucket-list material! Imagine waking up to ocean front views, incredible fresh foods, and chasing trophy permit with world-class guides!! ☀️🐟

Nate and I spent our days on the water, laughed with new friends, sharing stories with @vittok1er (the amazing owner), caught fabulous fish with @luis.antemate.319 (our guid) and lived the kind of adventure every angler dreams of!

If catching a permit has been on your wish list, we can help make that happen. 🎣 We’re already planning our next trip — who’s coming with us next time?

Is WORK the only place you go?

Something @natepreator has taught me is not to wait for the right time to LIVE — but to create opportunities NOW to live.

Don’t be afraid to spend money on travel, FISHING, or the things that fill your soul. Be afraid of getting old and realizing the only place you ever went was work.

Life isn’t meant to be saved for later. Book the trip. Chase that fish. Watch the sunset instead of the clock.

Someday never comes if you keep waiting for it — so make it today. 🎣🌎 #flyfishinglife #flyfishinglife #couplegoals #flyhousefishing #livenow by @flyhousefishing
