Our grandson Ryan finished his USA baseball tournament yesterday. His team finished 3rd out of 16 teams. He was recruited to play on this team on the same day he finished his Ariz tournament. This is the top U16 players in the nation! He had barely 24 hrs to get back to Calif and fly out to N. Carolina. WOW, he ended up playing 6 games here and played every inning of every game. He did Amazing!! Poor guy was exhausted after 11 games in 10 days! We were so happy to be able to zip up to watch his games in N. Carolina. His Dad, our son Jeff, flew out for his last championship games. by @flyindgates

Just finished my workout at our newest facilities. I love the indoor walking track. This is the newest of five amenity centers in our Sun City. We now have the largest pool in all of South Carolina too! We now have 7 pools! It is basically resort living here! Come visit! Sun City Hilton Head

Another interesting golf day with friends. These black and white birds are all over this golf course and we do not know what they are. They are so beautiful and graceful, and look a lot like our egrets. They seem to be nesting in the same trees as the egrets. Our squirrels are also very different here. They have black faces, and some of them are pure black. So cool! Oh, and of course we have the alligators everywhere. by @flyindgates

We are enjoying watching this beautiful blue Heron wading into the lagoon to catch a fish. Hopefully the alligator doesn’t see it! They don’t usually stand that far out in the water. by @flyindgates

We closed out Aubry’s Junior FHS soccer season with the banquet last night. It was a wonderful celebration of this special team! They were ranked last in the pre-season poll and ended up winning 20 games, lost 2 games and tied 1 game. They won the district and regional tournaments and made it to the Semi-final at the state tournament. Aubry enjoyed being a co-captain, and she scored 36 goals, had 6 assists, and was named the District Offensive player of the year. None of which would be possible without her amazing teammates and coaches! They worked hard, stayed positive, and always supported one another. I am so proud of Aubry and our Admirals. I love watching her play and I am so grateful for the opportunity to cheer for Aubry and friends. We are so thankful for the wonderful friends and family who came to cheer for her! We are also thankful for her teammates, coaches, staff, families, and our awesome photographer, Larry Darling, for capturing these beautiful photos to be cherished forever! by @flyindgates
