Last Thursday we celebrated Aubry and her senior teammates! It was a beautiful evening with so many loved ones there to support them. We were so blessed with family, friends, and Haley on FaceTime❤️. Not everyone made the photos at the end, but we are so thankful they came to support these sweet Seniors! Thank you Larry Darling for the beautiful photos and thank you to all the parents who made it so special with gifts, photos, decorations, treats, words of encouragement, etc. I love watching Aubry play and I am so proud of her!

Thursday, May 21st was a day to remember! Surrounded by family and friends, Haley walked the halls of HBES in the morning and graduated from FHS last night in the memorable rain! Thank you to everyone who came out to support and all of the love that teachers, coaches, staff, friends, and family who supported and encouraged her through all of her grade school years! She has worked so hard earning straight A’s, Seal of Biliteracy, in Spanish, National Honors Society, volunteered, and more! During this time, she worked at Sweet CeCes, coached summer swim team, enjoyed being on the FHS swim team, and making fun memories with friends. I am blessed with for our relationship as well and that I have been able to be a part of her journey! I have enjoyed volunteering at school and seeing her and friends along the way. I am so thankful for our FHS, GMS, and HBES families and all of the wonderful memories we have made! After graduation, we enjoyed one final school related fun event together, Project Graduation where I volunteered and she enjoyed a night and morning locked in the school with fun activities, prizes, games, singing, dancing, food, and more! It was amazing!!!! As much as I am not ready to let her go, I am filled with so many great memories and so excited for what God has in store for her future. Praying many blessings! Haley, I am so proud of the good person you are! You are beautiful inside and out! You love the Lord, your family, and friends and I love you so much!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommas! We had a great morning at the field watching Aubry play and being spoiled by the dads on Aubry’s team, who gave the moms a wonderful breakfast. So thoughtful and appreciated! Aubry had a great game! I love watching her play! We came home to a delicious lunch, games, and laughs! Then I spent the evening enjoying time with my family watching old videos 😍I am so thankful for this beautiful day, for the honor of motherhood to my sweet girls, and for my dear mom, mother-in-law, and all the sweet mommas who have loved on my girls.

I am so thankful for a wonderful Christmas and many cherished memories with our family and friends! What a blessing to share this life with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus! ❤️ I wasn’t able to get a picture with everyone but here are some from Christmas, Christmas Eve, and some fun celebrations before. Our favorite night of the year is Christmas Eve at the Thompson’s beautiful home. Having so many loved ones in one place fills my heart with so much joy and the best gift and we are so grateful! Thank you Sharon and Kevin! We love you all! I also love the candle light service before and feeling the love for Jesus fill the church with prayer, song, and beautiful candle lights.

We closed out Aubry’s Junior FHS soccer season with the banquet last night. It was a wonderful celebration of this special team! They were ranked last in the pre-season poll and ended up winning 20 games, lost 2 games and tied 1 game. They won the district and regional tournaments and made it to the Semi-final at the state tournament. Aubry enjoyed being a co-captain, and she scored 36 goals, had 6 assists, and was named the District Offensive player of the year. None of which would be possible without her amazing teammates and coaches! They worked hard, stayed positive, and always supported one another. I am so proud of Aubry and our Admirals. I love watching her play and I am so grateful for the opportunity to cheer for Aubry and friends. We are so thankful for the wonderful friends and family who came to cheer for her! We are also thankful for her teammates, coaches, staff, families, and our awesome photographer, Larry Darling, for capturing these beautiful photos to be cherished forever!

Last weekend concluded Aubry’s sophomore season at FHS! Thank you to everyone for supporting her near and far! Thank you Coach Mike and Coach Kyle for giving her a chance on this stellar varsity team. Coach Mike was Aubry’s PE teacher in elementary school and she asked him then what it would take to make the FHS team and had high hopes of playing for him in high school. We got here way too fast! It was a privilege to cheer on the Admirals and an honor to have her play with these talented players(will miss our 14 seniors). It was also so nice to see her play on the field with Mia (I grew up with the Hasan’s as our family and Yusuf always had a soccer ball with him…always!!! He has always loved the game and Aubry shows the same passion. Love that our girls were able to play together! Thank you Larry Darling @tncountryfan for the awesome pictures and sharing them with us and Ben for doing such a great job on social media! Thank you Charles Pulliam @cspulliam_sports for the coverage, honors, and all you do for youth sports, and to everyone who had a role in honoring and supporting these girls. Thank you Alexis for taking care of them, volunteers, fans, sponsors, and Molly and Jen for all you did to help this team run so smoothly…big shoes to fill! We are very grateful for a wonderful season with such a special team of friends!
