The Jiggin' Magma Shrimp is one of @rasmus_ovesen's creations. Rasmus has fished all over the globe, but he is particularly fond of catching finicky fish on the flats. For this purpose, he has developed the Jiggin' Magma Shrimp, a weedless little Shrimp imitation that shows up well on sand and turtle grass, yet has the subtle naturalism to convince a fish to eat. This pattern has caught loads of triggerfish and bonefish, and - with tan or clear legs - it doubles as a super-effective permit fly.
Also, the Jiggin' Magma Shrimp has proven itself as an amazing seatrout fly - especially during the summer and autumn months.

Material List//
Hook: Ahrex SA542 Salt Jig #2-8
Eyes: Easy Shrimp Eyes, brown - M
Tentacles: Tan Craft Fur and some pearl Crystal Flash
Body: Spawn Simi Seal, Tan
Legs: Easy Shrimp Legs, orange
Weight: Dumbbell eyes
Weed guard: 0,40mm nylon

These Silver Grade Hebert Miner Rooster Capes have just become available in Europe. Nothing beats Hebert Miner for small dry flies, but they also double as amazing providers of long hackle feathers for big Deceivers and other predator flies - all in the most beautiful natural colours.

Short tutorial for a super easy to tie hover shrimp. Tried it recently in the local fjord with success. Find a longer version of this tutorial on my YouTube channel. Looks really nice in the water and is almost glasslike in the water. The fluo red Raidzap works as and attractor and rubber legs for extra movement. Inspired by a Claus Eriksen. #fishing #flyfishing #seatrout #fishinglife #flytying by @flytyingeurope
