Short tutorial for the orange firefly I tested recently with great success. @david_wiese_fishing was the inspiration for this one and he gave me the idea for this one. Didn’t quite end up as his version so I guess another version is coming up later 🤔 Check out the long version of this tutorial on my YouTube channel. #fishing #flyfishing #flytying #seatrout #fishinglife

Red Tail Reaper - A 90 second fly tying tutorial🎣

Save this reel for your own fly tying or share it with your fishing buddy👍

With a black, buggy three-hackle fly, tied with spey feathers and a fluorescent red butt, you cannot go wrong.

Again I have used hen spey feathers because I think they fit better on smaller patterns like this.

Tight fly line!

You don’t see much silver pheasant on coastal flies these days. Looking at those feathers wet, I think we’re missing out.

Sølvfasanen. Fluorescent pink underneath, silver pheasant over the top. Ready for cold water.

I first saw this fly tied by @crazyfliesdk and couldn’t resist those silver pheasant feathers.

Does silver pheasant have a place in your fly box?
