Throughout the last year, I learned how much marriage is truly all about teamwork. Year two for us was filled with pregnancy struggles which turned into 32 long hours of childbirth, and marathon training which lead to our trip this past weekend to Boston. During childbirth, I kept saying ‘no it’s a we, we did this’ because there was no way I could’ve done the last 9 months or the last 32 hours without Collin. And during Boston this weekend, it was also a ‘we’, because even though it was his legs running the 26.2 miles, everything leading up to the race was teamwork. Louie included, thank god he’s an easy baby!

This weekend proved to present the same theme: teamwork. From Collin calming my nerves about being away from Louie for the first time, to the maid-of-honor’s speech at the wedding we attended Saturday, and of course cutting all the wedding dance floor rugs, as we always do. To waking up at the crack of dawn for our flight and getting everything ready while the other got an extra 30 minutes, and on the reverse getting to the airport 4 minutes late to checking a bag and getting to our gate during final boarding, but not stressing because we know it’ll be fine. To organizing spectating plans, absolutely crushing running the BOSTON MARATHON, and to celebrating accordingly. We knew this weekend was going to be one for the books, and boy was it ever.

Congrats on your nuptials, @snaypey & @nikkilynn__. Congrats on an incredible race of a lifetime, @cpmcatee. And last but not least, happy second anniversary, to my best friend, dance partner, travel companion, and of course, teammate.
