I ran the BOSTON MARATHON!! Still doesn’t feel real 💛💙

A sappy recap, if you’re interested:

Can honestly say this was one of the coolest experiences of my entire life. Getting to run alongside some of the most elite runners in the world, listening to the deafening crowds all along the course (that Wellesley tunnel was no joke), running up Heartbreak Hill, making that left on Boylston… I could go on and on. The BIGGEST highlight of the race, though, was seeing my family at mile 18 when I needed them most. Cannot thank you all enough for flying up and cheering me on. Love y’all.

A huge thank you to @flywithabbylou especially for supporting me through all of this, as always. Louie was born halfway through my training block, so i know it wasn’t easy when I’d leave for two hours on weekends to go on long runs. And those long runs paired with the AnimSchool classes I was teaching afterwards… J, you’re a saint. Thank you. I love you. ❤️

Boston has just always been a total ‘white whale’ of a race for me - going all the way back to running with my parents as a kid. The way they talked about it gave it this insane level of prestige. There was ‘running a marathon’, and then there was the Boston Marathon. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d ever qualify, let alone get to run it. Still pinching myself.

So, to the little kid me, who insisted on hopping out of the jogger and running alongside mom and dad: You CAN do it. You will do it. You just did it. 💙💛🦄

02:41:21 Marathon. Avg pace of 6:09/mi. BQ.

Shoutout to @flywithabbylou and @broughtonstreetdog for supporting me in this ridiculous pursuit towards getting a bib for Boston 2026. And a huge shoutout to the elevation on this course 😅

This result has been years in the making. 10 months of training and 1000+ miles leading up to this race alone. Feels so good to finally achieve a goal I set out for myself so long ago. This ~should~ be enough 🤞🔵🟡🦄
