Scotland was a dream getting to explore the beautiful landscapes and stunning castles. Scotland is definitely a place I plan on exploring more in the future. This particular castle was built in the 13th century and abandoned in the 17th century. Pretty cool to see up close in person!

There may not be many views in the Everglades, but the wildlife makes up for that. This particular morning I witnessed an alligator having a morning meal and a heron posing (most likely hiding) away from another alligator. One of the best wildlife experiences to date for me. Highly recommend the Everglades if you’re ever near Miami or southern Florida

Officially 30 years around the world today! I am thankful for all the birthday wishes and the incredible support for my photography! As I celebrate today, I am reminded of how important it is to seize the moment and explore the world around us. If you are unsure about solo travel, book that flight and experience everything you can. You never know the amazing things you might discover. Here’s to new adventures and cherished memories as I grow into my thirties.

Lost in the beauty of the Faroe Islands. Every 20 seconds I would find myself turning on my camera to capture memories. Memories that would live with me forever. It is hard to put into words how beautiful the Faroe Islands are. I definitely want to dedicate a full trip to these islands in the future.

Side note: I leave for Ecuador tomorrow and could not be more excited to be in South America for the first time in my lifetime.

Some frames from my recent trip to Iceland. Every moment in Iceland feels like a scene from a dream, where the natural beauty is both humbling and awe-inspiring. From the volcanic terrains to the mesmerizing waterfalls, every corner of this country tells a story of raw beauty. I am already very excited for my trip in August 2026 for the entire ring road and the solar eclipse!

One location I did not plan out for my Taiwan trip was the Houtong Cat Village. My original plan for this day was to stay in the village of Jiufen until I saw this place on Google Maps. A place that should be visited by any cat lover. You will be greeted immediately by a lot of friendly cats (only a few were aggressive) looking for love and food.

Interesting facts about Houtong:
1. Houtong once was a popular mining village until the decline of the Taiwanese mining industry in the 1990’s.
2. The cat population in this village exceeds the human population by over 200 times.
3. Some cats here are sterilized and will have one of their ears trimmed as confirmation. This helps to keep check on the local population of cats and helps identify new cats that enter the village.

Skogafoss and all of its glory. Standing in front of this waterfall is an unreal experience. The scale of it does not seem real until you are right up in front of it. Surrounded by lush green landscapes and volcanic terrain, Skogafoss offers a dramatic view that attracts visitors from around the world. I will definitely have to come back to hike to the waterfalls located past Skogafoss.

Memories in the Dolomites that I will never forget. People often ask me where my favorite place to travel in the fall is. My number one answer is always the Italian and Swiss Alps. There is just something about the rugged mountain peaks and golden larches that keeps me coming back. So many trails and views to choose from!

Adventuring the Faroe Islands will make you feel isolated from the world in a good way. A chain of islands rich in landscapes, an abundance of wildlife and great people. I will definitely be back for more great views and memories 🤌

Seeing a Formosan Rock-Monkey in person was a sight to see. Besides humans, the Formosan Rock-Monkey is the only other native primate living in Taiwan. They have an average lifespan of 30 years and weight about 13 pounds on average. These two showed up right as I was leaving Alishan heading to Chiayi for turkey rice (highly recommend). Definitely a cool surprise!

The beautiful mountain side tea fields of Taiwan. Probably my favorite part about Taiwan, the abundance of tea. My friend, also named William, had me try fried tea leafs for the first time and it did not disappoint. The chili sauce was A1 and I can’t wait to get back for more!
