ART FOR KIDS, Elekahia, RIVERS STATE with Project Maya 2024.

Whenever I get to spend time with children doing creative projects, I feel very fulfilled. I imagine that when I was 8-11 years old, I met a doctor who is also an artist, coming all the way from another state to teach me and show me how to paint, my passion for art would be on another level from that young age! This is the opportunity that I want all the kids to have because I didn’t have such. I hope I am able to ignite the fire and empower these kids with not just the skill but the interest and passion to create and pursue their dreams.

Thank you @rsfworld for bringing me on, my family Tolaram for the generous support, @marvll_the_greatest you came all the way with your brother to inspire these kids, @praiseart_ you are an amazing soul, and to the entire team, THANK YOU!

Following my dream to give children the opportunities that I didn’t have when I was growing up, I have been training children in creative projects across Nigeria. In order to reach a wider audience, I have decided to bring all creative projects under the ART FOR KIDS INITIATIVE through my foundation. This initiative will be run across several communities in Africa. The primary aim is to foster creativity in children of these communities as a means of empowerment and nation building.

On the 6th of April 2024 I will be in PortHarchourt, Rivers State on the Project Maya project championed by @rsfworld where we will be seeing over 500 children with the hopes of igniting the fire of creativity in them and letting them know they can achieve so much with art.

Feel free to reach out to support or join the cause as collaboration is one of our tenets at the foundation. Art for Kids is coming to a place near you! by @foladavidfoundation

Excerpts from our Free Medical Outreach at the Ikate Community. The event was a huge success with over 500 people benefiting from it and featured health talks, medical screening, free consultations with our consultant dermatologists present , free medication, free skin care products, health surveys and many more. We say a big thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers and well wishers.
