There’s a certain kind of softness in this world that not everyone understands. The kind that feels too deeply, that notices the smallest shifts, that carries more than it should. And maybe that’s why it learns to be careful...gentle not just with others, but with what it chooses to reveal.

Sometimes, it’s not about hiding the truth or holding back love. It’s about protecting something fragile from a world that can be careless with it. Because once you’ve seen how easily a tender heart can break, you start choosing silence, distance, restraint....not out of coldness, but out of quiet care.

Not everything needs to be said if it comes at the cost of someone’s softness. Not every truth deserves to wound.

Some hearts are too warm, too rare, to be handled roughly.

🥀 "It is because I think so much of warm and sensitive hearts, that I would spare them from being wounded.”

Some love feels exactly like this—

🥀 "So it went on continually, the recurrence of love and conflict between them. One day it seemed as if everything was shattered, all life spoiled, ruined, desolate and laid waste. The next day it was all marvellous again, just marvellous. One day she thought she would go mad from his very presence, the sound of his drinking was detestable to her. The next day she loved and rejoiced in the way he crossed the floor, he was sun, moon and stars in one."

Reading this and feeling a little too seen…
how can something be this chaotic and this beautiful at once? 📖

❓️Is this passion… or just chaos we keep romanticising? 😭

❓️Imagine getting slapped and your twin across the country feels it… chaos or karma? 😂

Picked this up thinking it would be a slow, serious classic… and ended up actually enjoying it way more than expected 😭

The Corsican Brothers has that old-school dramatic flair, but it never feels too heavy or boring. The story moves pretty smoothly and there’s just enough mystery and intensity to keep you hooked without needing to overthink everything (rare for me 😌). It’s the kind of book that feels simple on the surface but still leaves you thinking a little after you close it. not overly complicated, not dragging....just a solid, engaging read.

Dumas really knows how to keep things dramatic and entertaining without losing you along the way! 👏📖

There’s a quiet kind of ache in loving deeply.. the awareness that nothing stays exactly as it is. People change, moments pass, and sometimes what once felt permanent slips away without warning.

But maybe love was never meant to stay in one form. Maybe it transforms....into memories that soften us, into strength we didn’t know we had, into the quiet understanding that we are still capable of feeling so much.

What leaves doesn’t always disappear. It lingers, reshapes, returns.....just not in the way we expect.
And somehow, even after loss, the heart learns how to love again… differently, but just as deeply. 🖤

🥀“Everything you love is very likely to be lost, but in the end, love will return in a different way.”
— Franz Kafka

I walked into a bookstore with peace in my heart...
Reached for a random shelf… Tess.

Turned around… Tess.

Blinked… more Tess.

At this point, I don’t think I chose the book..
the book chose me.
Now I’m stuck choosing between four heartbreaks.
Help!! 😭

Judging a book by its cover is wrong… but today we’re doing it anyway! 😌

Which one are you picking❓️

🥀 "It is a narrow mind which cannot look at a subject from various points of view.”
 — George Eliot

George Eliot: consider all perspectives!
Me: overthinks every sentence and questions my entire understanding.. 😌

❓️Do you read… or do you overanalyze everything like it’s a life decision? 😭

Some people aren’t quiet because they have nothing to say…
they’re quiet because they are constantly editing themselves— their words, their reactions, their existence....just to fit into a world that was never made for them.

What looks like “normal” is often exhaustion in disguise.
A silent battle. A daily performance no one applauds.

Albert Camus wrote about the absurdity of existence—the feeling that life has no inherent meaning, yet we are forced to keep going, to act, to belong. He understood that many people feel like outsiders in their own lives… and that simply existing in a society that expects conformity can feel like a quiet rebellion.

Maybe the strongest people are not the loudest ones.... but the ones who carry this invisible weight
and still choose to show up every day. Be kind. You never really know how much effort it takes for someone just to be “okay.”

🥀“Nobody realizes that some people expend tremendous energy merely to be normal.”

This book stayed with me longer than I expected..

A man, a bet and a journey that refuses to slow down! 🌍

There are people who plan their day… and then there’s a man who plans the entire world. This book feels like a calm man in chaos, where everything is falling apart and he still checks his watch.

Jules Verne's writing is simple, yet quietly clever.... never overwhelming, but always moving. It’s fast, adventurous and oddly comforting like traveling the world without leaving your room.

The characters? a little dramatic..
The journey? absolutely worth it.
And somehow, in all the rush, it still leaves you with quiet moments to think. Not the kind of book that shouts, but one that moves steadily..... and stays with you longer than expected.

Swipe ⬅️ for hauntingly beautiful quotes..

❓️Would you take a bet to travel the world in 80 days?
❓️Are you drawn more to the journey or the destination?
❓️ Any fav quote?

A deceptively simple play about one man chasing the “dream” and slowly realizing the dream might’ve been chasing him instead… with a stick. 😅

Willy Loman is basically the CEO of bad decisions and blind optimism, confidently making life choices that have you side-eyeing every page. It’s like watching someone follow a motivational quote way too seriously. 🫣

Arthur Miller really said: here’s a short book, now go have a full existential crisis. Cool, devastating, painfully relatable and way too real.

Swipe ahead ➡️ for some hard-hitting quotes!

⁉️Would you pick up a short but heavy read like this❓️

🥀Only give a woman love, and there is nothing she will not venture, suffer, and do.

The Law and the Lady is basically Victorian suspense with excellent dramatic timing and a heroine who refuses to mind her own business.. thankfully for us. 😂

It’s surprisingly addictive. One minute you’re reading casually, the next you’re fully invested in old scandals and courtroom drama like it’s a reality show.

Collins has a talent for turning serious scandals into pure page-turning entertainment. You start reading out of curiosity and end up completely hooked, side-eyeing every character and questioning every “respectable” decision. Chaotic, clever and honestly a lot of fun.....proof that Victorian chaos can still be a great time!! 🫡

🥀 "I can live alone, if self-respect, and circumstances require me so to do. I need not sell my soul to buy bliss. I have an inward treasure born with me, which can keep me alive if all extraneous delights should be withheld, or offered only at a price I cannot afford to give."

POV: You just wanted a peaceful job… but got gothic vibes, secrets and Mr. Red Flag instead! 😌📖

⁉️ Is Jane Eyre more about romance or self-respect❓️

Is Mr. Rochester romantic or just a walking red flag❓️
