we skipped halloween and went straight for Christmas with Ally Carter @theallycarter and Shannon Hale @squeetus on Tuesday! so fun to see you in your sweaters with your bags full of books. signed copies of It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Murder (and other backlist Ally titles) & Christmas in Austenland are available at Folklore Bookshop and Lovebound Library 🎄❤️

huge thank you to @squeetus for being a wonderful conversation partner for Ally & @loveboundlibrary team for bringing their event expertise into this team effort book launch 💕

if you happened to miss the event and therefore didn’t get your book that’s included with your ticket, you can pick it up at the front counter @folkloremidway taken in Midway, Utah by @folkloremidway

inspired by our friends at @booksaremagicbk and celebrating Banned Books Week, (october 4th- 10th) we are donating select challenged and banned books to our Little Green Free Library for the remainder of this week for every banned book purchased from us (while supplies last). Swing by and browse our little library and find something new to read, or leave a story for someone else to discover. 📚🍂

“Life is short. Talk fast.” (& read books!) - Lorelai Gilmore
okay… we added that last part. 📚 today was too much fun! thanks to our participants in our GG Stars Hollow scavenger hunt (businesses and local scavengers both) when the bookstore is set in the most stars hollow town complete with our very own gazebo… this felt like a requirement! now we’re home eating chinese food and heating up a frozen pizza 🍕
