Remember when you dropped out of school at 14 to lean into your gambling career and pursue your vodka hobby, and your parents said you'd never amount to anything? Tonight's your night to prove them wrong. Later tonight, the gods of Heckle Hollow willing, you'll be able to call them and say "See? Now I'm a Rodeocrosser!"

California’s biggest cyclocross race returns to @ruhstallerbeer Farm in Dixon on Sunday, November 22, 2026.

Swipe through for what it actually looks like: mud, hand-ups, a kids race, live music, a relay race, beer & food trucks, and a whole lot of people not taking themselves too seriously. That’s the point. It’s hard, it’s a mess, and it’s the most fun you’ll have on a bike all fall.

Your Cyclocircus Ringmaster here to remind you that we're throwing 2 epic weekends of racing designed to compliment and confound the other serious racing going on around NorCal!

November 7 & 8 we'll be back at Laguna del Sol, a fantastic resort with a traditional style CX course around a lake. There's a hotel, a restaurant, pools and hot tubs, and camping so we encourage you to make a weekend of it. There's also our world-infamous naked race at the end of each day so bring your original skinsuit!

November 22 we bring you Nutty Cross, a part of the historic and resurgent BASP series, presented by Boundless Locomotion. Nutty always delivers the best weekend cross experience in California, racing through a walnut orchard attached to a steampunk brewery because we're tired of boring city parks too.

THE BEST URBAN CYCLOCROSS RACE IN THE WORLD IS BACK.

At least that's what we've been calling it until someone proves us wrong.

MARE ISLAND UCX RETURNS NOVEMBER 1ST!

Once home to one of the most important naval shipyards in American history, Mare Island has seen its fair share of battles.

Now it's home to a different kind of battle.

One involving skinny tires, tight spandex, and grown adults doing things on bicycles that they haven't done since Bon Jovi was king.

Forget your typical cyclocross course.

We're taking over the historic Mare Island shipyard, racing through an urban playground of pavement, dirt, navel bunkers, and whatever other ridiculous things we can convince you to ride over, around, or through.

All with the Napa River waterfront as the backdrop and Mare Island Brewing Co. right there waiting for you when you're done.

This is one of the most unique races on the calendar, and we're pretty excited to bring it back.

Come for the racing. Stay for the brewery. Stick around for your favorite BASP community!

That's the Rodeocross triathlon, and the 2026 version starts next Wednesday. NOT TONIGHT, if you show up tonight you'll be even lonelier than usual. But if you're into combining three activities that you don't do very well into one awkward, drunken, sweaty mess, we'll be ready for you next Wednesday the 14th. Rodeocross is coming for you, and there's no point in trying to run away. It travels faster than regret, and almost as fast as your bad reputation. It is less resistable than gravity. Go on, give in. All the cool kids are doing it.

Actually, all the cool kids are doing cool things. Rodeocross is infested with awkward dorks who don't have anyone else to hang out with. In other words, we're like family.

Speaking of family, your unmanageable children (16 & under, not the ones with jobs) race for free, so we're the cheapest babysitter around, provided your usual babysitter is 200 drunks.

You don't even have to race at Rodeocross. You can just sit serenely while the maelstrom swirls around you, imperious and above it all. But you're still gonna go home sweaty and dusty and smelling like beer, so you might as well get a number and become part of the show. Watching instead of doing is for weirdos.

Our favorite part about BASP has never really been the racing. It's getting everyone together.

It's seeing the same faces throughout the season, catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, and spending a Sunday surrounded by people who love riding bikes just as much as you do.

Sure, we all show up to race, but BASP has always been about a lot more than what happens between the course tape.

It's hanging out before your race. Cheering for your friends after yours is over. Meeting the people you line up next to every weekend. Kids running around. Cowbells going off. Sharing some food. Talking about bikes. Making new friends and catching up with people you haven't seen since last cross season.

That's the stuff that makes these races special.

This Sunday at Shoreline Shredder, we want to make that community part of the day even bigger.

There is a big open grass area near the course, so bring out your tents, chairs, blankets, coolers, and whatever else you need to make yourself comfortable. Set up near the other teams and racers and let's turn the grass into one big BASP hangout for the day.

Stay after your race. Watch the next one. Heckle your friends. Meet someone new. Grab some tacos. Fly a kite. Let the kids run around. Cheer for people you don't know yet.

You don't have to be racing to come hang out either. Bring your friends and family and spend Sunday with us.

We want BASP to feel less like showing up for your race time and heading home, and more like spending the day with a bunch of people who happen to really enjoy riding bikes around in circles.

BASP is back.

And we can't wait to have everyone back together this Sunday.
