Something extraordinary is about to happen in the heart of Milan.

Echoes of Renaissance in the Hues of Africa arrives at @fondazionematalon Museum in just 29 days — bringing African art, fashion, storytelling and innovation into a powerful conversation with Europe.

And this is only the beginning.

We open just before Milan Fashion Week.

Then, from September 21, selected bespoke fashion pieces brought to life by @sixthsznn in collaboration with @artnovation_studio Fashion will take the story from the museum to the runway.

And then comes the twist…

THE BRIDGE OF MOTION.

A new creative collaboration with @hybridmotorsng , where art, mobility, innovation, renewable energy and sustainable development meet.

At the heart of it all are the masterpieces of two extraordinary Nigerian masters:

Chief Tola Wewe.
Chief Nike Davies-Okundaye.

A LOVE LETTER TO GERMANY 🇩🇪❤️

Some countries become destinations. Germany became part of my story.

From the doors of the German Consulate in Lagos in 1999, to Hannover 2000, friendships, years of collaboration, the UN SDG Action Award in Bonn, and a conversation with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in 2024 — the journey has been built on something more powerful than geography.

Relationship. Trust. Partnership.

Germany believed in ideas that became movements — from Vision of the Child and Corruption Busters to climate action, creativity and sustainable development.

Today, that relationship is entering a new chapter.

Artnovation: Africa–Europe Creative Economy.

🇮🇹 Italy first.
🇩🇪 Germany next.
🌍🇪🇺 Africa → Italy → Germany → Europe.

What a revealing opening.

From the Italian Consulate in Lagos to the Headquarters of the Lombardy Region in Milan!

Today was a defining moment—not just of presence, but of responsibility.

To be African, to be Nigerian, is not a title I wear lightly. It is a duty I carry—with discipline, with vision, and with unwavering respect for every table I am invited to.

For years, I have committed my work, voice, and platforms to building a New Nigeria—grounded in integrity, excellence, and global relevance. That mission did not begin or pause today.

This morning, we attended a high-level meeting at the Lombardy Region's headquarters. The room was prepared. The economic team assembled. Our shared future was ready for discussion.

We waited.

And then, we adjusted.

Because leadership is not measured by convenience—it is revealed in moments of unexpected absence.

With composure and clarity, we redirected the conversation. What could have been a missed opportunity became a defining one. The focus shifted. It moved from expectation to execution, from representation to ownership.

And the outcome?

A standing recognition.
An open door.
A renewed commitment.

The dialogue led to Artnovation's expansion between Italy and Nigeria. The City Council paid close attention and showed a willingness to collaborate.

We did not just preserve dignity—we elevated it.

Because when one voice hesitates, another must rise.
Today, we rose—not in noise, but in substance.

My sincere appreciation to the leadership of the
@regionelombardia.official, the distinguished Councillor Romana Dell'Erba, and the Economic and International Office for their time, openness, and respect.

Gratitude as well to Ambassador Roberto Mengoni and Consul General Ugo Boni for their continued belief in cross-continental collaboration.

The ripple effect of uncontrolled AI development is far more profound than many of us realise.

Recently, I had a virtual conversation with my 15-year-old daughter, who attends boarding school and has no personal device or Wi-Fi access there. Yet, she had so much to share with me about AI! That conversation was an eye-opener.

It reinforced my belief that we must be intentional about how we introduce, develop, and use AI, especially with our children and teenagers.

While I remain passionate about AI's positive possibilities, I am equally concerned about its potential dangers when safety and human control are no longer guaranteed.

This is why my daughter and I have started working together on a product designed to help protect children and teenagers from the potential dangers of AI. We believe that innovation must go hand in hand with responsibility, safety, and the protection of young minds.

AI must advance humanity, not put humanity at risk.

I stand with the call for AI leaders to honour their commitments to pause development when they can no longer ensure adequate safety and control.

The time to act responsibly is NOW. Our children’s future depends on the decisions we make today.

BRONZE CONVERSATION
When traditions meet, they create a new language.

Some conversations do not need words.

In Bronze Conversation, the sculptural memory of European Renaissance tradition meets the geometry, rhythm and symbolism of Nigerian visual culture.

Teal and gold evoke permanence and memory. Ona-inspired motifs bring movement, identity and a distinctly African visual language into the dialogue.

This is not a clash. It is a conversation.

A meeting of two traditions, two histories and different ways of seeing the world.

TUSCANY | GREVE IN CHIANTI

I had an amazing time in Greve in Chianti! ❤️

It was a beautiful opportunity to thank God for the extraordinary life of Papa Giuliano Sottani and celebrate his 90th birthday surrounded by family, friends, business leaders, and community members.

Staying on the hills of Montechiari in Chianti was an experience I will cherish. Being so close to the olive garden offered something beyond a beautiful view.

As I observed the trees, the olive fruits, and the branches, my thoughts travelled back to the Bible. I found myself reflecting on God, faith, life, creation, and the beginning…

Interestingly, this stay also brought fresh inspiration for an upcoming product from Foluke Michael Studio, which we will be unveiling in a few weeks. Sometimes, the most profound ideas emerge when we slow down, observe nature, and reflect.

I am grateful to God for this journey, for the privilege of celebrating Papa G., and for the extraordinary grace of witnessing two fathers turn 90 in the same country and region, just two years apart.

✨ In 2024, we celebrated Professor Wole Soyinka at 90 in Florence.

✨ In 2026, we celebrated Papa Giuliano Sottani at 90 in Greve in Chianti.

Two remarkable lives. Two extraordinary milestones. Countless reasons to be grateful.

Indeed, God has blessed me with fathers, and I do not take these gifts for granted.

From the hills of Tuscany to the inspirations of creation, my heart is full.

Glory to Jesus! 🙏🏽❤️

90 YEARS OF GRACE, FAITH & LEGACY 🎉❤️🇮🇹

It was a tremendous privilege to join Papa Commendatore Giuliano Sottani in Greve in Chianti, alongside the Mayor, the leadership of the Tuscany Region, members of the business community, politicians, family and friends, to celebrate nine remarkable decades of an extraordinary life!

I give God all the glory for His faithfulness upon Papa’s life. His unwavering faith, strength of character, love for family, and commitment to his community are truly admirable.

One memory that remains vivid in my heart dates back to 2010, when I welcomed Papa at the airport in Nigeria. His very first question was about how he could attend a worship service at Winners’ Chapel! That visit gave us the wonderful opportunity to meet Papa Bishop David Oyedepo, an encounter Papa cherished and continued to talk about long afterwards.

Papa, thank you for your love, wisdom, inspiration and the special place you hold in my life. Your journey reminds me that a meaningful legacy is built through faith, service, relationships and the lives we touch.

Indeed, God blessed me with an Italian father! ❤️🇮🇹🇳🇬

Happy 90th Birthday, Papa Giuliano Sottani! May the Lord continue to strengthen you, preserve your joy and surround you with love.

90 YEARS OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS | PART 3 🇮🇹❤️

Today brought back so many memories!

📍 Twenty-four years ago, in 2002, Commendatore Giuliano Sottani and his team brought our Nigerian delegation to Piazza del Duomo in Florence. Together with artists from other countries, we explored the city before the international painting competition, immersing ourselves in the theme: “Florence in the Eyes of the World.”

Today, upon arriving in Florence for Papa’s 90th birthday, I headed straight back to the Duomo.

The morning sun was spectacular! As I walked from Santa Maria Novella towards Piazza del Duomo, I couldn’t help but admire the artist side of God—revealed in the breathtaking skies, the clouds in their extraordinary shapes and forms, and the beautiful interplay of light, architecture, and nature.

For a moment, I took it all in. Twenty-four years later, Florence still inspires me, reminding me that creativity is everywhere when we learn to see.

Next stop: the beautiful Greve in Chianti, where my Italian Papa awaits! ❤️

Oh, how I love Tuscany! 🇮🇹✨

90 YEARS OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS | PART 2

A DIVINE CONNECTION THAT BECAME FAMILY ❤️🇮🇹🇳🇬

PART 2
The greatest gift of that journey was not only the Gold and Silver awards Nigeria won, but meeting the man who would become my Italian Father.

Papa has been my mentor, inspiration, and unwavering cheerleader. His trust and encouragement helped lay the foundation for my journey in Italy.

Today, as I continue building bridges between Africa and Europe through the creative economy, I am reminded that some seeds planted decades ago continue to bear fruit.

Happy 90th Birthday, Papa! ❤️

Thank you for believing in me, opening doors, and being such an important part of my journey.

May God continue to bless you with good health, peace, joy, and many more beautiful moments. I remain eternally grateful that our paths crossed in 2002.

Some people enter our lives as opportunities. Others become family. And some are divine connections that change our journey forever.

You are all of these to me, Papa.
