This month’s Qantas magazine Design Report features the Garde Hotel, a heritage building from 1897 that was once Fremantle’s police headquarters. We shaped its interiors with local makers. At Anglesea you’ll find Jordy Hewitt’s hand-painted sails and Gavin Carver’s ceramic lights. You'll work alongside our Senior Team, keep the studio running smoothly, and help us show up at our best — for our team, our clients, and the wider design community. We are looking for someone who is reliable and caring, deeply organised without being rigid, and genuinely energised by helping others do their best work. Our friends at Five Mile Radius kindly invited us into their studio for a day to hang, where we explored brand tones and refined the final finish through hands-on testing. We love what they do with their recycled concrete and creative pigmentation! The result: a striking chartreuse-pigmented concrete pour-over benchtop, now the beating heart of Allpress Fortitude Valley's central coffee bar. by @foolscapstudio

Coffee tastes better in a room that means something. We designed Allpress Fortitude Valley to feel rooted in its community — shaped by local makers, circular design thinking, and our deep understanding of the Allpress brand. (Literally, our Melbourne studio sits above the Collingwood roastery!) Video by @blackardt by @foolscapstudio

A series of hand-blown Cullet Vases we've been teasing finally had their moment — launched at the wonderful Pieces of Eight Gallery on Friday night, as part of Open House Melbourne. Born from Adele's ongoing exploration into "cullet" (reclaimed raw glass offcuts from the glassblowing process) and brought to life by glassblower Hamish Donaldson, each vessel suspends vibrant molten inclusions within clear glass, evoking the fractured elegance of stained glass. As the glass settles naturally during blowing, no two vessels are alike, each one entirely unique and unrepeatable. Thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday for the launch! Shop the full collection now via the link in our bio. Florals by @crushes_studio Photographed by @heather_lighton_photo & @danielaulsebrookphotography by @foolscapstudio
