TEXTURE

Want to add depth, interest, and a little warmth to a room? Bring in texture.

Think a woven basket, a vintage pot, a chunky linen throw, or a thick woven pillow. It’s the little bit of texture that keeps a room from feeling too perfect or flat—and makes it feel collected, layered, and lived in. taken in Ford and Elm by @fordandelm

I’ve always had a love for design.

Not because I want the best, or because I want my home to be better than the next. I love how good design can make you feel.

And it’s not really about a specific style. I could put almost any beautiful piece into almost any style of home and find a way to make it belong. Because to me, design isn’t about following a formula. It’s about creating a feeling.

That moment when you walk through the front door and your house greets you.

Maybe with a hug.
Maybe with a happy dance.
Maybe with a deep exhale that says, I’m home.

That’s the magic I’ve always loved about design. Not perfection. Not keeping up. Just creating a home that feels a little bit like you. by @fordandelm

Sunday called and said to stay in bed. We’re not arguing. 😉

For the month of September, all Lee Industries and Skyline Furniture orders are 20% off—including the beds pictured here. Because apparently, September is for making your bedroom as good as your excuses to stay in it. taken in Ford and Elm by @fordandelm
