It’s publishing day!! wildflower is OUT NOW 🎉 through the link in my bio.
This book took 7+ years to write, 2 C-sections with complications, being a single mom, losing my home and completely starting over, being close to women who adopted and went through IVF, being the daughter to someone who went through so much heartbreak in her childhood but she broke the cycle, countless walks in the forest and by the shore, the seasons connecting with motherhood and childhood, witnessing children grow and explore their world for the first time, and so much more is behind each poem.

Wildflower is a poetry book about motherhood and childhood through the lens of nature.

I can’t tell you what it means to me that my children have watched me finish something for myself.
I hope these poems find you and heal you 💕🙏

the shop is LIVE 🤎 every piece has been made with so much care during many, many of my toddler’s naps and long nights. I hope you love them as much as I do 🥹

(and there’s a lot more than you see in this video 🙊)

I haven’t added any physical goods to my shop for over 4 years for personal reasons. The timing for it now feels right 🤎

They tell me to be ‘strategic’ about the days and times I post to get more views. Frankly, I’m a bit bothered by that from an artistic standpoint. So here’s a piece that took me a long time to write. Several drafts later and at what they call the worst day & time…but it feels right… something connecting womanhood to autumn, sorrow to hope, changing to growing 🤎 🍂

A cozy craft for the weekend ☕️
And some news for this upcoming Tuesday the 13th! I’ll be opening my shop for the first time in over 4 years 🤎 with a few physical (whimsical) things for you and the holidays coming up

For these quilt block coasters I used:

- air dry clay
- acrylic paint
- a branch cut into 4 ( for the holder)
- dish washer safe mod podge as the sealant ( I won’t actually put these in the dishwasher but it’s a more heat- resistant sealant than the others I have)

DAY 1 🍂
I’ll be sharing a couple projects and writing pieces specifically for this themed week

As the days soon will gently begin to shorten and the golden light of autumn will start setting around us, let’s gather together online for a little moment of warmth and connection.
This Mabon, we’d love to see what keeps you warm and cosy as we welcome the golden time — a favourite handmade treasure, a warm cup, a candle, book,a woolly blanket, a seasonal corner, poem,or simply something that brings coziness to your heart.
