It was an honor to play the 40th annual Burning Man! I’ve been saying for years that I would debut my first set as a performing artist at a festival, but I did not have it in the cards that it would be here, immediately following temple burn with a sea of 80,000 people in front of me

Fun fact - I was literally the last human to enter Burning Man this year, does that mean that technically I can say I was the last man to burn?

I’m a very resilient person, but after two days of setbacks and challenges, I came very close to giving up and driving home. As I walked away from the box office with my ticket as they closed shop for the remainder of the weekend, me being the only car driving on the road in as workers converted the entry lanes to exit lanes - I was reminded that things do always work out as they should, and that my powers of manifestation are extremely strong. There is no point in coming here with a plan, but the next time I burn I will definitely be spending the full week there instead of arriving last minute

I now see what makes this place so special, there is truly nowhere else on the planet that compares. Even if I did spend a full week there, it would not have been possible to see everything. I’m very grateful for all that I was able to absorb, the connections I made in the process, and for the people who helped make it possible for me to be there without purchasing an $800 ticket

Most importantly, I’m grateful for the release that Burning Man offers. I still hold appreciation for everything that I shed here, it all helped make me the version of myself that exists today

Dynamicz and I released our first track together! This is the first time that either of us have successfully finished a collaborative project with someone, we work so incredibly well together and it has been a lot of fun blending our creative flows! We can’t wait for you all to hear it, this is one of many that are sure to come

Things I learned at Shambhala this year:
-Everything really does happen for a reason
-The river here washes away more than just dirt
-Excision throws the fuck down at Shambs
-Good friends work together to overcome obstacles, and there is always a way through if you stick together
-Shambhala has the best festival food on the planet
-Trust yourself, love yourself, be yourself - the people who are meant to stay, will
-The universe will always find a way to communicate the truths that we need to hear, even when others are incapable of telling us themselves. Conduits are real.
-Enigmas truly are a beautiful strain, best mushie trip I’ve ever experienced
-Cord cuttings are very real and can occur spontaneously without an initiation ritual
-Ganja White Night has a LOT of amazing music incoming
-Listen to your body, and stop what you’re doing as soon it tells you to
-Sunrise hits different at The Grove
-Don’t force anything, the universe delivers what you seek when you stop asking for it
-The path can only reveal itself to a clear mind

My depression is gone, I am realigned with my truest amazing self, and I’ve seen my destiny. There is something very large & exciting that I’ve started working on! I’ll share more when the time is right.

To both old friends & new friends that I got to share experiences with on this journey, I love you and I appreciate you! Happy Shambs 😌🏞️🌲💜

This weekend I’ve found myself reminiscing frequently about Texas Eclipse Festival. It remains the most chaotic, yet the most powerful festival experience I’ve ever had

There were so many firsts for me here! The diverse lineup included prominent science, consciousness, psychedelic, art, and space exploration related speakers; I listened to and met speakers such as @paulstamets @alexgreycosm @rickdoblinphd as well as @nasa astronauts. The musical lineup was astounding as well, it included my first @tippermusic set (still the best Tipper set I’ve seen to date, I posted vids from that right after the fest). It was my first time seeing a solar eclipse in totality, which was a life changing, transformative energy that I recommend every human to experience at some point in their lives

A lot of people talked shit about this festival due to the death, early cancellation of the last day due to incoming storms, and the general lack of infrastructure and staffing on the grounds. While it was chaotic with the minimal medical teams, CIA & FBI onsite due to terrorist threats, and thrown together campgrounds that required last minute land bribes from nearby farms and bulldozers to arrive and tear down barbed wire fences - every time I entered the festival I forgot about the hurdles getting there

It was chaotically beautiful, my partner at the time and myself had a phenomenal experience! We made many friends; our camp neighbors came directly from Tokyo (big love to @onchi_bubbles @momoka_fu and the rest of that squad, I want to come visit you guys in Japan soon!!) I made a song to commemorate the experience, as well as incorporating a solar eclipse into the Solar Plexus section of my chakra/spinal tattoo

The next total eclipse sweeping the contiguous United States is in 2044, but I will definitely be trekking to another country to experience totality again before then! taken in Totality by @forestfire222_

Was It Love is the debut single for my new alias - Forest Fire! My audio production skills have developed immensely over the past five years while releasing music as TripLord, so I figured it was time to start releasing music under a different energy!

Forest Fire is TripLord’s evolution - into a more distinct, forest festival, type sound.

Was It Love is the first track I made with female vocals (big shoutout to my friend Kat in Germany, you killed it), this is the new sound I aim to direct my art towards, and this is the alias I will debut at a music festival. SAME SAME HITS DIFFERENT 💜 Every time I go to this magical place I experience cosmic realizations, universal guidance, and profound change in a positive direction. This festival gives me strength. It gives me the ability to see clearly. It gives me love and respect for myself, as well the people that truly care about me.

I’d like to say thank you to the festival owners, directors, and event staff I worked with for making the experience possible and incorporating @neautropics . I also want to give thanks for this sacred land of the Cahuilla and Luiseño peoples.

To all the artists I connected with, it was great to meet you and I look forward to continuing our conversations!

THE ENERGY IN THIS ONE!!! I was watching Adventure Time with Silly and got inspired by this dream whirl of an episode, it was one of those moments where the entire track showed itself to me immediately - building it out in the DAW was such a blast!
