Pulled this shot from an older film I posted on YouTube a while back. I remember standing here in the Adirondack Mountain Wilderness just taking in the air and thinking, yeah… this is why I film this stuff.

It wasn’t a big production — just me, the mountains, and trying to capture a real moment outside.

All this in a base-model Subaru.

It’s frustrating seeing people spend thousands of dollars modifying already expensive 4Runners and other trucks all to hesitate when it comes time to actually use them. Meanwhile, a stock Subaru is out here getting after it.

If you’re going to buy an off-road rig, use it to its full extent. Know your vehicle, understand its limits, and don’t be afraid to put it to work. What’s the point of building a rig for adventure if you’re too reluctant to take it on one? You don’t need thousands of dollars in modifications to get out there and explore. Sometimes, you just need to send it with what you’ve got. by @foreverflycompany
