BY APPOINTMENT IN FEB! ON THE SHELF IS FOR SALE ON THE TABLE IS PART OF OUR PERMANENT LIBRARY* owned and curated by @antylc

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hi Friends! For Keeps has been quietly tending to a few important projects and resetting for the new year. We’ll reopen to the public, with regular hours, the second week of January. In the meantime we have limited appointments available this month for research, browsing, or holiday buying. Remember that we operate primarily as a community archive with a selection of works for sale. Because the works hold memory and energy, they (and I) require maintenance in many ways. We have also acquired many new libraries from some wonderful people that we can’t wait to share (after the daunting cataloguing process). Check the link in our bio to make a December appointment! See you in January. by @forkeepsbooks

Excited for the release of this beautiful piece of work published by Saint Heron Press. For Keeps Books is one of the designated spaces and the singular Atlanta location to drop off/pick up your copy of Azurest Blue: for the LIfe and Legacy of Amaza Lee Meredith. Come see us tomorrow 1-5pm by @forkeepsbooks

I had the honor of serving as the inaugural curator for the Saint Heron Community Library—announced in 2021 and published online for rent a few weeks ago. Sharing a very limited list of my favorites now, a bit delayed, with sincere thanks to Solange and the whole Saint Heron team for the trust and collaboration.
You can explore the full Saint Heron Community Library at library.saintheron.com.
