Opening tomorrow night (17 September, 5-8pm) at Bath Spa’s Locksbrook Campus. At 6pm BAD’s @kelseycruzmartin is hosting a panel discussion with Jeff Scherer, Ian Parkes, and @matthewjpage (BAD).

More info below:

50 years of Locksbrook, and we’re celebrating all year.

In 2026, the iconic Locksbrook building turns 50–originally designed by Sir Nicholas Grimshaw as Herman Miller’s “Action Factory,” now home to Bath School of Creative and Cultural Arts and Bath School of Design at Bath Spa University.

To mark this milestone, we’re launching a year-long programme digging into the building’s story—from Grimshaw’s original design ethos, to the furniture made on the factory floor, to its transformation into a university, to the culture of design and making that still lives here today. Expect archival research, new creative commissions, public events and community projects.

In 2023 I founded @form_i_c_a which is an old industrial unit now housing 7 artist studios and a versatile communal space in Bath, UK. ✨

While documenting my work recently @maxwellattenborough captured a few shots of my studio there and the shared communal area.
I love this space and it’s an honour to work alongside the 6 other artists at form-ica.

The last image shows work packed up getting ready for my solo exhibition with @annelyjuda opening 16 Hanover Square, London 1-10-26. Thanks @catattaway for help with all the wrapping. 🎁
