Those moments that reignite a flame for a passion are priceless. Sometimes I forget what coaching and mentoring is really about, and today reminded me. This journey with Matt has become so much more than coaching- and I’m incredibly grateful for that. Putting my heart into this prep with him honestly reignited a little of my own passion for coaching. Proud of you, Matt, and grateful I got to be part of this journey. And Brianna, thank you for being such a rock for him throughout it all.
The spark was fun but the best part of the day was watching Matt. He owned the stage with pride and confidence knowing he put in the work. His first show(toughest regional show I’ve seen in years) and he rocked

Some roads aren’t meant to be driven—they’re meant to be conquered. Met a great group of people, tackled some incredible trails, and made memories I’ll be talking about for a long time. Sometimes the best adventures start with simply introducing yourself. 🤙🌲🛻 #bronco #offroad taken in Southington Offroad Park by @fostertrained

This past weekend in Columbus at the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament was one we’ll never forget.

Our girls wrestling team made history, defying the odds and bringing home their first state championship. Tough, resilient, and relentless — this group set the standard and proved what belief and hard work can accomplish.

On the boys side, a 3rd place state finish and we had 7 state placers that left it all on the mat. 4 battled all the way to the finals- 2 came up just short and another achieved a state title with all tech falls and pins, and one of the toughest moments of the weekend was seeing a finalist forced to injury default — a heartbreaking end to a hard-fought season. It’s hard to explain to everyday people how hard these athletes work but if you know, you know.

This weekend had it all — the highest highs and the toughest lows. That’s wrestling. That’s life.

Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. I love these team and am honored to be part of their journey. 💪 taken in The Schottenstein Center by @fostertrained
