Head of the Muskingum Recap!

CFJ traveled to Marietta, Ohio this weekend for our second regatta of the fall season, and the team brought home THREE medals!

More highlights:
• Our men’s 4+ (Graham, Emil, C.J., Esteban & Luke) tried a new lineup and dropped 3+ minutes from HOTC!
• Juliana & Sophia cut about 3 minutes from HOTC and finished just 3 seconds off 3rd place!
• Jaiden & Deagan earned their redemption race with a strong, clean finish!

🥉 Women’s Youth 4x: Mia Tosi, Juliana Merimee, Sophia Cashdollar & Lilly Duran, 3rd of 6
• Women’s Youth 1x: Mia Tosi, 5th of 18
• Lilly Duran, 11th of 18
• Men’s Youth Novice 4+: Olivia Bolden (cox), Jaiden Salary, Canden Wheatley, Dakota Libran & Deagan Carney, 5th of 11
• Men’s Youth 2x: C.J. Salary & Giles Killpack, 8th of 16.

We had first races in new boats, novices taking on their first race, and plenty of grit when things didn’t go to plan. We’re so proud of every crew that hit the course!

A big shoutout to our Middle School Development Team for building strength, speed, and team spirit during their ergatta!

And thank you to our parent volunteers for making our home regatta run so smoothly. We couldn’t do it without you!

Huge Shoutout to our CFJ Senior athletes Lilly and Giles, who competed in the Boston Beach Sprints Coastal Regatta on July 24th and 25th! Both of them tried Coastal Rowing at our Foundry Coastal Beach Sprint Camp the week before and wanted to take it to the next level! We are so proud of them for taking the initiative to race and showing out against the competition, making it to the quarter finals in their singles and taking 5th place in the double!! Coach Alyssa also competed at the Regatta, taking first in her event! Amazing job all around!! 🌊🚣‍♂️🏅🎉🎉 by @foundryjuniors

Just some clips from the Foundry Beach Sprints Coastal Rowing Camp a few weeks ago!! Our very own CFJ athletes Luke, Olivia, Sophia, Lilly and Giles got to learn all about Coastal Rowing and race each other on Lake Erie! We had such a fun time and can’t wait for next summer! 🌤️🌊🏖️🚣‍♀️ by @foundryjuniors
