POSTS STORIES REELS

So... now you finally know my new RS3 sedan.

In my last two posts over the weekend, I wrote a lot about the car, what made me buy it and how it makes me feel to be able to call an Audi with a five-cylinder engine my own.

What you may also notice is that the quality of the pictures and editing has improved somewhat compared to my previous posts. I've learned a lot about photography and image editing during my posts on the account here and am slowly starting to develop my own style.

At the same time, some of the next posts will still contain pictures that I took more than half a year ago, so it may take a while until the style is as consistent as the last posts about my RS3.

So... let's continue the journey... in the future again with a mixture of pictures of my own car and the Audis that I find at the forum, in Ingolstadt or somewhere else in the world.

For me, when looking at the Concept C, the only question that really remains is whether the Concept C already represents the near-production vision of what was originally expected to become the next electric Porsche 718 — a project that, at least from what it looks like today, might end up existing only under Audi’s umbrella — or whether this design will still evolve significantly before reaching production.

Either way, Audi now at least has a proper new flagship with the Nuvolari. And what’s important to me is something I already assumed two years ago: if you develop an entirely new platform for a V8 hybrid, it simply doesn’t make sense to use it for a single Lamborghini model only (Temerario). That kind of architecture was always destined for more — and the Nuvolari feels like the natural second pillar for it.

Now that we've seen both – which design wins you over: the Concept C or the Audi Nuvolari?

For me, the answer isn't as straightforward as I expected. I still have my reservations, but I have to admit that the Nuvolari has made me appreciate this new design language much more than the Concept C initially did.

My first post in quite a while — and somehow I’m coming back with exactly the car whose design I currently struggle with the most in Audi’s lineup.

But I have to admit: with it's evolution I’d call the Audi Nuvolari, I’m starting to see at least a certain appeal in it.

Now that some time has passed since its release - what’s your verdict on the new Audi Q3?

From the very beginning, I actually liked the exterior design. And the more I see it, the more it has grown on me. In my opinion, the proportions feel right, the split headlight setup works well anyway, and overall, it carries a confident, modern presence that fits perfectly into Audi’s current design language.

But there’s one thing I simply can’t ignore. The tiny Virtual Cockpit, surrounded by that massive piano black frame, is still an absolute no-go for me. It just feels out of proportion - and in a car at this level, that detail matters. In fact, it’s serious enough that it would genuinely make me reconsider buying one.

Which makes it all the more frustrating, because apart from that interior decision, I think Audi really
nailed the Q3’s exterior evolution.
