It was great getting to hang out with Jim Keltner yesterday! The man is not only a legend, and one of my drumming heroes, he's always the coolest person in the room. #jimkeltnerfanclub taken in Drum Workshop, Inc. by @fourscoreandsix

Sandra thought I might be hungry, so she ordered me a grilled cheese. When I opened it, this is what was in the box. Seriously. #stillhungry, #literalgrilledcheese by @fourscoreandsix

Years ago, Joe Rivas came to 86 because he said he had a gift for me. He had been driving through the desert and stopped at some roadside store. He saw this tacky/weird statue of a mountain lion's head and he thought it was hilarious. He wanted me to have it because he felt the only place it could make any sense was at my house. It's been in our kitchen ever since that day.

This community is still processing Joe's passing. It's been tough. He meant so much to so many people, and he was the nicest guy this side of The Ozarks. He could talk forever about Star Wars, baseball, and punk rock...maybe too much. Love you, Brother Joe. taken in Oxnard, California by @fourscoreandsix

It's my 25th anniversary at DW! Pretty wild, considering that I'm only 37 years old. Child Labor Laws were messed up back then. I'm forever grateful for the things I've learned and the good people I've met during this stretch. OK, enough blathering, I've got to get back to work. taken in Drum Workshop, Inc. by @fourscoreandsix

The Melvins/Tomahawk show last night was beyond stellar!! Getting to watch Dale, Coady, and @jdstanierjr play the same show is a drummer's dream. Eternal thanks for letting us have the 'Statler and Waldorf' seats! taken in The Belasco by @fourscoreandsix

I was reading this vintage edition, when I noticed something weird that was taped to page 13. My first thought: "I didn't know my uncles were into Baudelaire when they were kids." #readingrainbow by @fourscoreandsix

It's been a minute! The Spires will be releasing new songs later this year, but one of them has escaped early. Give it a test drive on our Bandcamp page:

Tomorrow's festivities are going to pack a wallop! So many ultra-rad bands on one bill. The Spires play at 7:40, but make sure you get there early to check out our homies The Mercer! There are also trading cards of each band available in packs! Plus, it's a free show, so you're on the guest list. by @fourscoreandsix

Millions of thanks to John Crerar for letting me share the best seat in the house last night!! I didn't get to take many photos, but it doesn't matter because the memories of this show will never go away. The JC50 shows sold out because of the incredible bands, but also because this community loves you and wanted to celebrate at your side. Happy milestone, young man!! by @fourscoreandsix
