There’s something really special about being understood… especially when you’re trying to describe something that doesn’t fully exist yet.

Today I connected with Heather Fox from @fox_interiordesigner to talk about the vision for our new space—and I’ll be honest, I felt like I was speaking in half sentences, energy, and “you know what I mean?” moments.

And she just… got it.

No over-explaining. No second-guessing. Just this quiet confidence in understanding not only the aesthetic, but the feeling we’re creating.

Heather is kind, thoughtful, and a true visionary—but what stood out most to me is how deeply she considers energy in a space. The flow, the intention, the way people will experience it.

And for someone like me, who works so heavily in energy… that matters more than anything.

I left that conversation feeling heard, supported, and honestly… even more excited for what we’re building.

This space is going to be something really special. 🤍

Stay tuned 🖤🖤🖤

Before she was a founder, a leader, a woman building something…⁣
⁣
she was a little girl with big opinions, bigger feelings, and a strong will she couldn’t yet name.⁣
⁣
And she didn’t disappear.⁣
She became her.⁣
⁣
“𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗿” is one of the most special moments we’re creating inside the Motherhood Summit. 💕⁣
⁣
An interactive experience where you’ll be invited to pause… reflect… and reconnect with the version of you that started it all.⁣
⁣
Not just by matching faces on a page—⁣
but by sharing a piece of your own origin story.⁣
⁣
Because this room isn’t just about where you’re going.⁣
It’s about honouring where you began.⁣
⁣
The Motherhood Summit is an evening of connection and celebration for women who are building, leading, mothering, and becoming—often all at once.⁣
⁣
Think:⁣
✨ meaningful conversations⁣
✨ a room full of women who just get it⁣
✨ pampering + play + connection⁣
✨ and moments that stay with you long after you leave⁣

This isn’t one to watch from the sidelines.⁣

Long before we choose colours and cushions we focus on how the space actually functions. Going over the floor plans, looking at every detail, and making sure we are giving our clients the best solutions to suit their preferences and lifestyle. We need to draw the picture before we get to colour it in. Looking at who uses the space, how they will use it, habits and routines. What currently works and what doesn’t and how you want that space to make you feel! This is a very important reason for bringing on an Interior Designer at the very beginning of your new build or renovation. We will guide you through the whole process and help you save both time and money! The job of an interior designer is so much more than decorating! taken in Langley, British Columbia by @fox_interiordesigner

Spring is the perfect time for a little refresh in your home and one of the easiest ways to do this is a simple switch up of the decor around your room.
Whether you bring in some seasonally themed items or use some more neutral pieces, you’ll be surprised with how such a simple change can make an impact!
I love to layer in books, photos, greenery, art, and decorative objects. Mixing larger pieces with smaller accents can help to create depth and dimension.
It’s those little touches that really bring a space to life and make it feel more personal.
