Tried Montreal’s newest dessert disco with the foodie crew and yes
I did dance after every bite.I tried their S’mores Glacé  a toasted marshmallow stuffed with strawberry ice cream and honestly, I’m still thinking about it.Everything’s made in-house and the flavors change every couple of days, so every visit feels like a new discovery. My fave flavors of the moment : mandarin yuzu gelato, fesse au soleil sorbet, Cola 1642 cerise,Popcorn espeletteThank you @coquine.mtl for having my friends and I . @balbastikmontreal is a hidden gem serving fresh West African flavors with so much heart đŸ‡ČđŸ‡·âœšFrom the housemade bread to the spicy beef meatball sandwich (my fave!), every bite is packed with love and tradition. The eggplant-tomato-onion sauce with a hint of honey? Absolute perfection. To sip: their house hibiscus juice with orange, mint, and lemon — like sunshine in a glass ☀ And I couldn’t resist the homemade baobab popsicle — refreshing and unique!Finished it all off with a classic Mauritanian mint tea. Sweet, aromatic, and the perfect end to a cozy meal.Between the warm dĂ©cor and traditional music, it felt like a little escape straight to Mauritania. 🧡#balbastik #restoafricain #montrealfoodie #mtlfood #mileendmtl #cuisineafricaine #africanfoodmontreal #baobab #jusnaturel#mauritanie #faitmaison #sandwichafricain #thĂ©alamĂ©nthe #mtlrestaurant #montreal #montrealfood #montrealfoodie #mtl #mtlfoodie #mtlmoments #mtlfoodies#mtleats #montrealrestaurants #montrealrestaurant #africanfood #foxyappetite #foxyPR by @foxyappetite

First time brunchin’ at Duc de Lorraine—and I already want a second round.Started off with an AmĂ©ricano glacĂ© ($10): iced elegance in a glass. My friend went for the viral banana pudding matcha—and honestly, I need a to-go tub of that pudding immediately. Then we split two chef’s kiss entrĂ©es:SHAKSHUKA ($37)Pepper sauce, eggs, goat cheese, and basil.Spicy, saucy, and seriously soul-warming.PAIN PERDU crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e ($38)Caramel, fruit, vanilla ice cream, maple syrup.Imagine if French toast and dessert had a fancy love child. Was it a little extra? Last weekend I headed to the Just For Laughs festival for an evening of comedy and ended up taking a much needed healthy snack break at the new KaleMart24 pop-up I grabbed one of @kalemart24stores fresh açaĂ bowls and some protein filled @middaysquares snacks before wandering around the free outdoor shows at Place des Festivals, and it ended up being one of my favorite little MontrĂ©al summer moments. If you’re heading to the festival next weekend, you’ll find the pop-up right beside the Loto-QuĂ©bec stage. 📍Place des festivals Available July 16-19 & July 23-25Thank you @mei.media for the invite! đŸ«¶#montreal #justforlaughs #mtlfoodie #foxyappetite by @foxyappetite

Your homebody bestie left the house again
đŸ€I stepped out for opening night of @chodemmtl to finally experience MontrĂ©al’s celebration of Vietnamese culture and food
and I’m so glad I did. From the lion dance and live performances to all the beautiful ĂĄo dĂ i I saw (fun fact: I learned you get in free if you wear one!), it felt like I got to travel to Vietnam for the evening without leaving Griffintown.I’ve always loved how fresh Vietnamese food tastes. There’s so much balance between grilled meats, herbs, crisp vegetables, rice noodles, and bright sauces that every bite feels light but still packed with flavour.Bites and sips of the night:~BĂĄnh xĂšo (Vietnamese crepe) ~Grilled lamb wrapped in betel leaf with vermicelli @pasthyme ~Vermicelli with grilled brochettes & an imperial roll @restaurantlyla ~Lotus Blossom cocktail~Strawberry mochi @meiimeww.bakes ~Vietnamese ube coffee @cafe2ndgen If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, Chợ ĐĂȘm MTL is at Bassin Peel until July 19, with Vietnamese street food, cultural performances, workshops, local vendors, and plenty of reasons to get out of the house and stay out a little longer than you planned.#montreal #mtlmoments #montrealcreator #mtlfood #digitalscrapbooking by @foxyappetite

A peek into your homebody bestie’s camera roll after my very rainy summer side quest at Brossard’s Asian Night Market
I wasn’t about to let a little (or a lot of) rain stop me from wandering through 40+ food vendors, watching skewers sizzle over charcoal, sipping fresh sugar cane juice, and trying new dishes from different Asian cultures .If you’re looking for something fun to do around MontrĂ©al this weekend, the @nightmarkmtl at Quartier DIX30 in Brossard is worth adding to your itinerary. Entry is free, so all you have to worry about the inevitable long lines and deciding what to eat first. Now excuse me while I spend the next week thinking about the peanut butter chow mein topped with soft shell crab and grilled lobster from @chowmeinclubmtl.📍Quartier DIX30, BrossardđŸ—“ïž July 9-12đŸŽŸïž Free admissionMy first stop was to get some delicious peanut butter chow mein that was topped with grilled lobster and soft shelled crab 🩞 🩀 It was amazing and it gave me the strength to continue my rainy evening adventure!Next I got to try my first ShaoBing pocket which was piping hot and filled with beef
I really enjoyed it.right across from them I noticed my friends at Cafe 2nd Gen making their yummy Vietnamese coffees and matchas so i had to get an ube matcha. It’s always a must and it made me soo happy 😊I love just watching the grill masters at work so even though at this point i was definitely feeling a bit full I still grabbed myself a skewer and couldn’t resist taking a bite while i had no hands to hold my umbrella đŸ€đŸ˜…One of my absolute favorite things to get is a freshly squeezed sugar cane juice so i couldn’t resist ordering one! It made me really happy but the rain started getting harder again and i had to get back out my umbrella
At this point i was truly stuffed but i ordered another skewer because im not a quitter! It was delicious 😋There is always room for dessert so mango sticky rice was the next stop
This masterpiece was just too pretty to not order but i will be honest i just ate some of the fruit from the top and gave the rest to a friend to drink đŸ„ČAt this point the rain really started pouring down and to my surprise my umbrella by @foxyappetite

This heatwave has me craving ice cream and thinking about a cool little foodie find from last summer that somehow never made it onto my feed
because I’m a chronic procrastinator. 😅I can’t count how many times I’ve driven past @bouzamtl on the way to my aunt’s house in Laval, so I was excited to finally stop in with my foodie friends Sarah and Farzy. It was my first time trying traditional Syrian bouza, and the texture completely surprised me. It’s soft, stretchy, and unlike any ice cream I’d had before. If you know me, you know making decisions isn’t exactly my strong suit. 😂 I sampled about six flavours before finally committing to a split scoop of mango đŸ„ and wild blackberry đŸ«. It was exactly what I wanted on a hot August afternoon. One of my favourite things about living in MontrĂ©al is that I can experience a new culture through food weekly without ever having to purchase a plane ticket. Sometimes the best discoveries are the places you’ve driven past a hundred times before finally deciding to pull over.Have you ever tried Syrian bouza?📍 Bouza Ice cream counter workers hate to see me coming 😅 I can’t decide on a flavor to save my life
I decided on fruity flavors and i wasn’t disappointed at all 😊 by @foxyappetite

Mini camera roll dump of this morning’s rainy day side quest for free coffee and aesthetic vibes â˜•ïžđŸ˜ŠRain on the sidewalks. An iced grilled coconut latte in hand. Flowers, vintage treasures, live music, and a room full of people slowing down for a moment. Not how I expected to spend a grey spring MontrĂ©al afternoon, but it definitely made me excited for summer.Tomorrow is the last day to check out Le Studio CafĂ© by @nespresso.ca 📍3455, boul. As a travel lover, I’ve realized I’m usually most excited when I’m exploring a new city and tasting the local delicacies
But I don’t want my life to pass by waiting for my next trip to feel that sense of wonder. There are stories hidden in every city, including my own. My favorite way to uncover them is through food, so I spent one of the first real hot spring days of the year wandering through Old MontrĂ©al on a food tour with @localmontrealtours .Our guide François and our group of twelve spent the afternoon exploring cobblestone streets, learning about MontrĂ©al’s history, and spoting out details I’d somehow walked past for years without noticing. Along the way, there were toasted Fairmount bagels, local charcuterie, Spanish wine, melt-in-your-mouth croquettes, smoked meat poutine, french cannelĂ©s, and QuĂ©bec cider
I came for the food, but I left with a deeper appreciation for a part of the city I’ve been walking through blindly for years. Also, if anyone needs a partner for an Old MontrĂ©al trivia night, I think I’m now somewhat qualified.I can’t wait to do more things like this! đŸ«¶I love being a tourist in my own city. #OldMontreal #MontrealFoodTour #MontrealFoodie #OldPortMontreal #MTLFood by @foxyappetite

I spent the evening at @cafegentile gorgeous new terrace opening in DDO for an aperitivo event and it genuinely felt like a European summer night
Actually it was a chilly May night
but Montréalers will absolutely sit on a heated terrace at 12 degrees if you give us fresh oysters, cocktails, and truffle risotto mixed inside a giant cheese wheel
and honestly? I love that for us 😭🍾🧀There were pizza slices making their way around the room, crispy arancini, fresh cannolis being filled on the spot, and I’m pretty sure there was a man playing the accordion at one point too. The whole night felt warm in that very Italian way
loud conversations, flowing cocktails, people lingering instead of rushing home. The terrace is heated thankfully
because the wind was still reminding us that this is Montréal and not the Amalfi Coast.Definitely one of those nights that made me excited for the warm weather to come.#montrealfood #montrealfoodie #cafegentile #montrealterrace #mtlfoodie by @foxyappetite

Friday afternoons are for drinking (and spilling) tea ☕â˜șI recently spent a slow afternoon at @paparmane.mtl
and it was one of those moments where you forget about everything else for a bit.I ordered the delicious Mayan Chocolate tea
very rich and comforting. The “temps des sucres” tea came out in the prettiest towers
a little QuĂ©bec love letter, but dressed up all fancy for tea time 🍁My favorite bites:‱ Truffle & maple egg mousse sandwich
creamy, rich, slightly sweet‱ Salmon tartare
fresh and light‱ Buttery scones with jam and whipped butter‱ Mayan chocolate caramel dessert
 deep, rich flavor‱ Pouding chĂŽmeur
nostalgic with a twist, one of my favoritesIt’s the kind of place you go when you’re not in a rush
 you sit, sip, talk
and suddenly the afternoon disappears #foxyappetite #mtlfoodie #afternoontea by @foxyappetite
