🇧🇷 #tbt🔙📸 desse abraço com a Maluzinha, após a final do Mundial ADCC Youth. Nem toda criança de 12 anos consegue fazer isso: ficar longe da família por meses para alcançar um objetivo. Nem todo pai consegue fazer isso: deixar seu filho de 12 anos em outro país, com outra família, por meses para alcançar seus objetivos. Nem todo coach consegue fazer isso: acolher uma criança, com todas as responsabilidades que isso acarreta, "só porque" tem uma visão de algo maior. Nem toda família aceitaria isso: permitir que outra criança entre, providenciando tudo, sem fazer distinção entre seus próprios filhos e o convidado, para que as pessoas possam seguir sua visão e ter a oportunidade de alcançar seus objetivos. Eu precisaria de um podcast inteiro para falar sobre o que Malu, seus pais, minha família e eu fizemos por um momento como esse. Definitivamente NÃO é para todos. Isso é além do Jiu-Jitsu.

Not every parent can do that: let your 12yo child to be in another country, with another family, for months to achieve their goals. Not every Coach can do that: take a child in, with all the responsibilities that comes with, "just because" he has a vision of something greater. Not every family would accept that: to allow another child to come in, providing everything, making no difference between their own children and the guest, so people can follow their vision and have the opportunity to accomplish their goals. I would literally need a full podcast to talk about what Malu, her parents, my family and I did for a moment like that. It's definitely NOT for everyone. It's beyond Jiu-Jitsu.
