This week’s #MondayMuse is photography curator and advisor, Francesca Pinto.

With over fourteen years of experience in photography, Francesca Pinto has held leading roles at The Photographers’ Gallery, Christie’s, and Magnum Photos, where she was Global Gallery and Retail Director. Her passion for the medium has shaped exhibitions, collections, and the institutions behind them.

She has curated shows for artists including Maurizio Anzeri and this week’s Spotlight, Almudena Romero, as well as a major Eve Arnold archive presentation in Milan. A regular on juries and panels, Pinto is a trusted voice in the photography world.

Beyond her curatorial work, she is Chair of The Bomb Factory Art Foundation and Trustee of the Foundling Museum. After London’s busiest photography week, we caught up with Francesca to find out how she sees the role of photography evolving, her advice to emerging photographers, and her favourite designer or label to wear to a Private View.

✨Feeling very uplifted and energised after a visit to the newly-opened #obamapresidentialcenter in #chicago - what a fabulous space, housed within green grounds featuring a herb garden, a huge playground, basketball courts and an awesome public library. Sadly no tickets available to the museum - all sold out for the next 2 months!
