Francesca Van Haverbeke is a Belgian artist living and working in London.

“Artist statement, a play by FVH:

FVH comes out left stage, walks centre stage, takes a bow, retches playfully.

FVH opens mouth, closes mouth. Opens mouth again; this time mouth remains open - no sound is heard.

FVH shakes limbs. Perhaps a dance.
The unsuccessful dance gets a standing ovation.

FVH walks off stage.
Curtain.

The audience murmur in a moribund fashion.
What a circus!”

FVH abre a boca, fecha a boca.

FVH sai do palco.
Cortina.

O público murmura de forma moribunda.
Que circo!” by @francesca__vh
