26.2 miles, a lifetime of emotion, and a reminder that I can do hard things. 🤍

Today I ran my first marathon @runcolfax as an ambassador, and I’m still trying to find the words for what this experience meant to me.

Training didn’t go as planned, and life threw more at me than I expected, but I kept showing up and I truly surprised myself.

Running through Denver was especially emotional. My older sister was born and raised here and since she’s no longer with us, getting to experience the city this way made me feel incredibly close to her.

So much gratitude for everyone who supported me, checked in, cheered me on, and believed in me. Especially my boyfriend and our friends who showed up for me today. My heart is beyond full. 🥹🏅🤍

Fuel matters so much. 🤍

I’m incredibly grateful to be in a place where I feel stronger and better than ever, and I’m still growing in my relationship with food every day. I don’t talk about food much on here intentionally, but donuts used to be one of my biggest fear foods, and now I truly enjoy them and so much more.

I hope every woman gets to a place where she can nourish herself, trust herself, and truly love herself. I feel so blessed to have made a full recovery and to keep getting stronger every day.
