Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 5th annual FranCon this past Thursday!

It was so wonderful to gather and celebrate Fran and all that she stands for.

And thank you so much to @holidaycocktaillounge for hosting us and @sweetpicklebooks for being our book exchange partner!

Also watch your emails this week for a link to party photos and a survey (your feedback is important to us)

Also happy birthday Fran!

Too early for SantaCon, too cool for ComicCon, JUST right for @franconnyc.

This Thursday, a gaggle of Fran Lebowitz lookalikes will descend upon @holidaycocktaillounge for FranCon, an annual celebration of the Jewish humorist once expelled from Episcopal school for “nonspecific surliness.”

Now in its fifth year, FranCon features a book exchange in partnership with @sweetpicklebooks, themed cocktails, candy cigarettes galore, and of course, Frans as far as the eye can see in the signature look – a blazer, jeans, button-up and cowboy boots.

Last week, HEEB met FranCon founder @janeaugust at a thrift store in Williamsburg to see if she could help us nail the Fran aesthetic. Outfits can be purchased, but sardonic wit is priceless.

If you’re ready to get your Fran on, head to @franconnyc and RSVP for a standby ticket at the link in their bio. taken in Holiday Cocktail Lounge by @franconnyc
