“We teach best what we most need to learn.”

My journey to improve myself and learn more about the human brain began primarily out of curiosity to explore my potential further.

However, after nearly 10 years spent optimising my brain and training thousands of people, I was diagnosed with a severe level of ADHD.

For years, I had been putting my heart and soul into teaching what I needed most, without even realising it.

Now that I do, teaching has taken on a greater purpose: adding value to those who receive the training and healing the part of me that needed this knowledge but didn’t have access to it.

It’s the personal connection between the teacher and the teaching what makes the lesson memorable and the impact lasting.

THE PAIN CAVE.

It’s never about the accomplishment, it’s about the person you become whilst on the journey.

I used to look up to entrepreneurs with a high net worth. To homeowners. To Ironman’s finishers.

The interesting thing is, as soon as I achieved that goal, I’d immediately switch to a new goal, and almost diminish what I have accomplished.

The life circle of a bloody over achiever. Nah, it’s not cool.

I remember walking into my flat in London, after years of putting off buying for whatever reasons, sat on my empty bedroom floor and thought, what now?

Well, f that. I’m now looking back to the hours of training that I went through during the last 9 months, whilst grieving my dad, whilst showing up to run a company , for my friends and training 14h per week to accomplish a goal I’ve labelled IMPOSSIBLE for years of my life.

Well, now I’ve done it. And I’m training my brain to shut up on the “what’s next” and appreciate the huge milestone I’ve achieved.

The pain I’ve endured because I value the promises I make. Because I value what I say. Because I work bloody hard. Because that’s being a woman of value.

I think this stuff can be both messed up and inspiring.

But now that I did it, I choose to focus on the latter.

I AM AN IRONMAN. I couldn’t buy that. I couldn’t fluke it. I’ve had got to train hard. And no one can ever take that away from me, not even my own internal BS.

Yes this is the first post about Ironman, yes, this won’t be the last 😂.

From my brain to yours, lots of love 🫶🏼

I want to make brainmaxxing a thing.

We already have “looksmaxxing”.

People spend extraordinary amounts of time, energy and money optimising their appearance.

Skin, hair, teeth, body, jawline, clothes… you name it.

And there is nothing inherently wrong with wanting to look good.

But I find it fascinating that we obsess over optimising the outside while paying very little attention to the organ running our entire lives.

The brain.

Your appearance will change with age.

Your brain will also change, and for the worse if you do nothing about it, which is precisely why taking care of it matters.

Because your brain influences your ability to:

Remember.
Focus.
Learn.
Process information.
Communicate.
Make decisions.
Regulate your behaviour.
Perform under pressure.

Everything you want to achieve requires your brain’s involvement.

Yet people will happily spend £500 on something cosmetic while telling themselves:

“I’ve just got a bad memory.”

“My attention span is terrible.”

“I’m too old to learn that.”

“I’ve never been a reader.”

As though these things deserve no training at all.

Imagine if brainmaxxing became as normal as going to the gym.

Training your memory.
Improving your ability to focus.
Reading more.
Learning difficult things.
Exercising.
Sleeping properly.
Protecting your attention instead of giving it away all day.

Your looks is what people see.
Your brain is how you experience your life.

Looksmax if you want.

But brainmax too.

And if you want to do that, I am running a live online Brain Optimisation seminar. It’s free and online.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m blessed for the upbringing I had and I wouldn’t change it for anything else.
Still, there’s light and darkness in all scenarios.

Thanks mum and dad, sis and bro, although it’s painful sometimes, I’m glad I had the upbringing I had.

Tough times never last. But if you’re going through them, sometimes is good to have a laugh regardless.

Found this in my camera roll, and thought why not post it.

The reason why I became a brain trainer became apparent 10 years after I’ve been working with people.
By then, I had already trained thousands of people out of passion for understanding the brain and teaching what the school system, or any professional environment for that matter, never managed to teach us.
To look inwards. To understand your brain. To access more of your potential via tangible, practical and proven tools to maximise the way you read, focus, learn and understand.
It was only after 10 years in that world that I was diagnosed with ADHD and I’ve realised that the reason why I was teaching these tools was much deeper than that. I’ve had a profound interest in the brain because I was trying to help myself first.

Over the years, I’ve trained over 10,000 individuals and I’ve heard countless stories - whilst helping them with tool that would allow them to rewrite the parts they weren’t happy about.

That’s what I love about what I do, it’s helping others going through what I’ve been though, by maximising the time spent on mundane tasks as reading documents, remembering data and avoiding wasting time because focus isn’t sharp.

I became the adult that 9 year old needed to remember that one line. And it took me 10 years in the industry to realise that.

It took me 2 years to process my actual diagnosis well… and there still is and will be work to do.

Do you work in a job that has brought you healing in any way? Let me know in the comments!

Your brain’s primary objective is survival, not fulfilment.

The amygdala constantly scans for threat.
The basal ganglia automates repeated behaviours.
The nervous system prefers known outcomes over uncertain ones.

This is why we unconsciously recreate the same relational, financial and behavioural loops.

Breaking a pattern requires creating psychological safety in unfamiliar territory.

If you want a different life,
you have to prove to your nervous system that new ≠ dangerous.

That’s where real brain training begins.

“WHAT DID SHE SAY?”
The observer effect is the moment when you and your friend debrief on an event and you realise how different your view was.
As much as what happens is the same for everyone, the way we process reality is subjective to each individual - and it all starts from the way your brain is wired to activate focus.

Change your focus and your whole perspective will change.
