The incredible Eloise Hawser installed the undercarriage of a train in my studio for Cubitt Invites, with help from brilliantly calm Miriam Austin.

Seen here alongside Weighting, my five marginalia stars handcut with nail scissors from natural rubber yoga mats (/trees). My thumb is still numb..

It was a great event with thanks to all fellow @cubittstudioartists and staff @cubitt_gallery for organising ❤️ their invited artists 🤩 and to everyone who came 😊

I will be showing new work in my studio at Cubitt Invites, alongside something brilliant by Eloise Hawser.
@eloisehsir

Do come.
Saturday 19 September 12.00-18.00
Cubitt, 8 Angel Mews, N1 9HH

The Beckett estate would not let me use the text from Waiting for Godot for a project, so, I have recreated the five characters from a series of stars penned by an enthusiastic reader in the margins of an 1960 edition from University of Reading library, where the Beckett archive is housed.

I cut the stars using second-hand natural rubber yoga mats* off Gumtree with stainless steel nail scissors.**
