VICTORY AT LAGUNA SECA! 🏆🔥

What a weekend for @frankietru and the @p2fabrication team!

Frankie took the win at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca behind the wheel of his 2017 Chevrolet Corvette, built by P2 Fabrication for the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car series.

At the heart of the build is a SADEV SCL924 with our C7 Corvette Kit, bringing sequential racing technology to this high-performance Corvette.

The weekend didn’t go exactly as planned. Had a substitute driver in the corvette because @alwaysracin is playing speed racer in Bonneville. @bdhobaugh filled in for Scott. We only got 2 runs each and he threw down a flier. Unfortunately broke a stub axle in the vette and cut Saturday short. Multiple prople offered up their cars for me to drive. Thank @isaacacks @goki124 and Andre Marconett. I ended up co driving Bruces cobra with @autoxandtrack. Not everyday that you can go race a multi million dollar car. Not everyday you can go race with 2 autocross veterans. Thanks @alwaysracin for putting it together. taken in NASA Crows Landing Airport by @frankietru

Some friends that have known me for a long time, know about the different Porsche I have had and know I have one on vacation in the garage. Well the harassment from my friends has finally pushed me over the edge.

Parts are arriving and others picked up. Thank you to Erik for helping select parts.

Pretty successful weekend for @p2fabrication C7 @racingbyrds AFTER DARK. First time i have beaten the dude the taught me and second fastest on the property to @sccaforums. @alwaysracin for being patient with me the last few years and teaching me to how to drive at a higher pace. I appreciate you! Congrats on the weekend overall win. You drove clean and with precision. @mikemaierinc thanks for the sunglasses advice and always trying to make me faster. @guyankeny thanks for everything you do for me, even though sometimes I dislike you. Lol. Thanks to @dukelangley for pushing me! Special thanks to @ssgoosse and @slow3dr for helping me out on the tow rig. Tow pig broke down both ways on this trip. I appreciate you guys!
