Being away from Berlin for four and a half months taught me something I didn’t fully realize before:

Real friendship isn’t measured by how often you see each other, but by how deeply you connect when you do.

Some people can feel like home instantly, even after months apart.

• Happy Mother’s Day to every person who has mothered, held sacred space for another’s growth and given her heart away. •

i’m holding space for all the mothers and children who are unfairly separated, all the aunties, cousins, and grandmas holding their families together, all the people who are struggling to become parents, anyone who has lost their maternal figure, all of the mothers who have outlived their children, anyone who was hurt or damaged by their mother, every mother struggling with their mental health, all of the women who have made the choice to be child-free, anyone who has made the choice to end a pregnancy, and the mothers who have lost their children.

Happy solar return Elio 🌞 We luv you muuuucho!!!

‚That period of zero to four, zero to five… there’s something about it that is really special. It’s like a peak experience of your life. Four years goes by so fast you can’t believe it, and if you miss it, it’s gone.‘

And as I watch our little peanut turn from baby to kid, from all mommy to mommy & the world… I would love to bottle it up. Freeze it.
In fact, some days, l’d do anything necessary to slow it all down. But then, as I shake the sadness of knowing rivers flow until they meet the sea, I remember that I can slow time. I can bend the waters by surrendering. By noticing. By taking it in. By being in awe. By breathing. By relishing in the joy of all that is this little boy. Just cutting laps around the sun 🌞 and forever searching for sun. A little ironic that I get a february birthday... but the universe was looking out for me and got me a sunny greek guy 😂 @jorgoterzo

Our last 48 hours in a nutshell 💂🏽‍♀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Exhausted and very grateful at the same time. Life has felt so busy and stressful the last few month. Busier than ever.
It’s too easy these days to get swept up into shoulds, coulds and musts where you end up doing things that don’t match what’s most important.

Grateful to be able spending time matching our highest priorities this weekend!!!
