Some raw moments from last year’s Karneval der Kulturen open air @ritterbutzke.berlin 🫶

The first time my mom, aunt, uncle besides so many friends saw what my world as a DJ actually looks like.
The first time they saw me play in a real club @ritterbutzke.berlin my fav club which feels like home.

Pure goosebumps seeing their faces and dancing together all day long.

Big love to keep this little ritual alive for the 3rd year straight - setting the vibe at @ritterbutzke.berlin this Sunday afternoon before @superflu.music and besides so many great artists.

Can’t wait to lose it on the dancefloor again with all the beautiful people and celebrate one of the sickest Berlin traditions — music, madness, love, sweat and open air energy from every corner of the world.

Being away from Berlin for four and a half months taught me something I didn’t fully realize before:

Real friendship isn’t measured by how often you see each other, but by how deeply you connect when you do.

Some people can feel like home instantly, even after months apart.

And then came the crash. Corona hit hard.
The Obsolet studio was flooded by a water damage caused by heavy rain, the founding crew fell apart,
and the scene went quiet.

In the middle of a worldwide collapsing club culture, the OBSOLET Crew took the chance to reposition itself:
Silence turned into a spark.
SoKool and Max Joni stayed locked in the studio —
a whole Album were born in that silence “Abenteuerspielplatz”.

And with it came more: “The Burma Job,” MUKKIMIAU’s first release with Max Joni — Afro House, primetime, palms, sweat.
“Coconut Kiss” — the first collaboration of @max_joni and @maltitz.flac
80s Miami Vice energy meets Indie Dance, two generations clashing for one moment.
Short, loud, different.

From 2019 to 2025, OBSOLET rebuilt itself.

4 weeks since we left the desert. it’s time to share some moments with people I shared special moments with.
Burn is all about community- give and take - findig each other ❤️ sharing knowledge, sharing water, sharing thoughts- sharing love, or just talk and Dance. Without the community you would not survive there - I even would say. The pics are just a glimpse of what I could catch - because I also left my phone somewhere some days.

Still in my Burn cloud, and I can say that I’m more than honored to have had the opportunity to play the legendary @whompwagon on Saturday after the Man Burned- following legends like @kimonos.music - my big friend ;) @chazwashingtonofficial and my Boyz @beobe.music aka @max_joni & @marvin_jam333 🙏🖤
I had tears in my eyes when half of the camp showed up for that special final burn experience. @whompwagon you’re already a legend. Thanks for your trust, you’re an amazing host (you know I love champagne!) 😂
Thanks @adilwithit for your love and trust – it was incredible being part of that night and setting the mood. At least I managed to record 1 hour of my set, but I didn’t take any pictures at all <3 That’s Burn. Can’t wait for the next one. Enjoy!

Back from the playa, and the experiences I had over the last 10 days are hard to put into words. I went through all phases of emotions, along with physical ups and downs. The way the community behaves, takes care of each other, and gives unconditional love was unexpectedly positive for me and truly necessary to get through my first burn experience 😂😍 Thanks to my love, aka expedition manager (as I called @max_joni these days), for being by my side during these crazy days of dust, which truly transformed a part of me. I had so much fun, laughed liked crazy till almost peed in my pants. 😻🙀 but I also cried and was truly overwhelmed of the nature and circumstances which comes with the trip.

A big thanks to my lovely camp fam from @veniceredlight 👯‍♀️ you made my first-ever burn gig on the first day unforgettable and groovy. What a jam session, @kristian_nord 🐆 el capitano.
