This is my friend Chinci AKA: @smulanovich this photo was taken after her last heat on the WCT in Portugal. It was the end of an “era”. You can see the tears in both Sofia’s eyes and @stephaniegilmore eyes. Since retiring Sof has accomplished amazing things. Most notable she has become a mother. Then she did this little thing in 2019 where she won the last #isaworlds in Miyazaki, Japan. She beat all the best women in the world however, she still has work to do this week. Please join me in rallying Sof in the last Olympic qualifier for surfing as she continues her quest to the #tokyo2020 Olympics. 🙌🏼 swipe left for a photo of grom Sofia long before any of us ever thought surfing would end up in the Olympics. Life is funny isn’t it? After a very stressful work week producing some 50+ odd hours of live global broadcast for the last Olympic qualifier for Park before skateboarding makes its Olympic-debut in Tokyo all while juggling who knows how many rain delays (I lost count, in fact I’m not sure I know what day it is or what my name is 😂). ..... but somehow i made it onto the 6 am flight the the next morning. Once seated on the plane, i realized i had a window of time to let my brain sit still for the first time in the last 7 days before we jump into post for the NBC show that airs next Sunday (2pm EST) I found myself overwhelmed with emotion reflecting on what just went down this past week and how proud I am of all the people that I got to work with.

Then out of the blue, these two photos randomly pop up on my phone and it suddenly triggers me to reflect upon all of the amazing, powerful women I am blessed to call my friends. They are all part of who I am. Just wanted to say, I love you guys, I’m so grateful for our friendships. Each and everyone of you push and inspire me with where you all are in life right now. I am so blessed to have been able to do life with you all. I count it a privilege that I have gotten to walk alongside you all throughout various chapters of life and get to witness everyone evolve in life as mother’s, lovers, stylists, directors/ filmmakers, Olympic hopefuls, business executives, leaders, Heath /wellness gurus, public service workers, care givers, and business owners.

Been working on a project with the team @stab called @stab_high 3 episodes done 1 to go. You can watch on ESPN2 the next two Sundays or go to Stabs website to check it out the first 3 episodes. This is a little behind the scenes from the shoot that I shot and edited on my phone. It was my first time back to the Mentawai Islands in 10 or more years. It was crazy traveling in the peak of the pandemic, it was empty everywhere. by @nfogdenmoore

Happy birthday @keepabreast 20 years is such a big birthday. @shaneyjo you are a complete legend for keeping the wheels turning for 20 years. Your drive and creativity never cease to amaze me. Thank you for all your hard work over the years making a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

Looking back 10 years ago to when I was able to come along side my dear friend Angela as she was battling breast cancer. She got to watch me suffer while I endured a 40 mile sufferfest paddling across the Catalina channel to Dana Point. Hardly a struggle compared to her battle with breast cancer, but she was thoroughly entertained in my brief suffering which was the goal. We were miraculously joined by a rare Minkie whale for 2 of the 9 hours. I named him Larry and he ultimately helped us raise a lot of money for @keepabreast and @b4bc I’m still so grateful I was able to put a little dent of a contribution towards the cause that Shaney tirelessly keeps pushing forward with in the fight with a platform that creates awareness and educates on prevention among the youth. Thank you @shaneyjo for all you do 😘 xoxo❤️ taken in Catalina Island by @nfogdenmoore
