Last July or August my neighbor (with whom Ive never spoke more than “hey, what’s up?!”) saw me parking my car while he was taking the trash out.
He ran back to his aptm and met me at my door with this guitar, handed it to me and said “hey, you play guitar, right? Here, it’s yours”. I said “I don’t play guitar, but I’ll never say no to an instrument. It’s here if you ever want it back”.

From that moment Ive embarked in a journey of teaching myself guitar and singing.
Not having the expectation of perfection or high standards, Ive rediscovered the joy and passion for music, which sometimes gets lost when I’m on bass.

I don’t know if I fully understand the meaning of this song, but I identify with it, as sort of a timid, at times insecure underdog, in a world of ostentatious material competition. Questioning if there is a place for me in it. Plus a bit of a lopsided attraction to someone who’ll never see you.

Maybe vulnerability on social media is uncouth, but I’m counting on the fact nobody will actually read till the end. by @fredinthehood

Last three gigs of our Midwest to East tour. We had such a blast playing for all of you. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us. Let’s keep the party going…
Catch the CVB next in Santa Barbara, Oakland, Pacific Northwest. And Europe in the fall!

Special thanks to our tour manager Jesse Davidson who kept everything running smoothly.
