That sudden pull to drive 6,000km solo across the country… I get it now.

Where the corrugated red dirt roads kiss the thriving turquoise waters of the Ningaloo.

My broken down van, we met on the sand. A campfire, foreign accent, fresh fish and fun waves. We found our feet living in a dream state (WA) 👣

From the Margaret to the Murray, we sat on a tinny under a big beautiful gummie. Me in complete awe spotting a koala above, you behind about to surprise me, holding a ring, expressing your love.

I am forever grateful for the supportive, caring, kind human you are. Let our friendship, relationship and travel companionship take us on the ride of our lives!!!!!!!

Might be a bit late with this one but stay with me. After seeing everyone in Jersey getting out for the recent 10km #RunForCass event in memory of a good friend Cassie Porter it really hit me. On so many different levels. But... What I told myself is that I’d get involved and take on the challenge too. Although it was a Sunday when I made that promise and I was pretty hungover.

Today I ran 10km, being the otherside of the world and a few days late, there was a lot of doubt going in... However, once the idea was into motion and I realised it’s for an amazing cause, raising money and creating awareness. It felt a little easier. Many thoughts came from it. One major takeaway to always keep in mind is we’re all running our own race. Be kind to yourself. And others. It’s not always clear what’s going on behind someones smile. It still baffles me that someone who is so loved can choose suicide. It brings back memories of another good friend James Bailey. Who unfortunately chose the same path.

Throughout today’s run I was thinking about all the fun times we shared. Made me laugh even when I wanted to stop and cry. Miss you both x

If anyone’s ever struggling please talk, weather it’s a close friend, family member, specialist or complete stranger. You’ll feel better for it, getting things off your chest, I know I have. I’m here for chat if you need.
