Held only once a year at Taren Point Public School (just past the Taren Point Bridge). immerse yourself in a day of French food, music and french products. A bit of Greek and a bit of French. Love mixing it up. French linen scarves and a hand crochet tote bag made in Greece by Greek mountain women. I love how these two natural products complement each other. There is only one bag of this kind in Australia. The ladies work on one piece at a time. Slow living, using sustainable products. Who will be the lucky recipient?

Hard to say goodbye to my French Cargo girls. Had a great night out a couple of weeks ago celebrating end of year and French Cargo with cocktails and a little dance @oatleyhotel that had a great band on the night @jellybeanjamsydney -(make sure you go to their next gig- they are fabulous 💃🏾🕺

I still feel a little sad when I see my little corner store empty with a leased sign. But there it is so wonderful to have French Cargo with me @greekcargo_shop and I many of you are visiting me in the new space.
Feeling so grateful to still be in touch with these beautiful ladies and my customers who continue to be a part of my world.

As we countdown to Christmas hope you are having a wonderful time catching up with friends and family, and if you need a little gift, you will find us at 343 Homer Street, Earlwood , Sydney. We are now open 7 days a week. Look forward to seeing you 😘❤️ by @frenchcargo

The most wonderful thing about having a business are the people that you come across. Yvette from @thechristmasshop was my neighbour in Ramsgate for the 10 years that French Cargo was there. We met through a business community group about 5 years ago and have been friends since then. Supporting each other in business and in life. Yvette and her sister Jacquie have carried on the Christmas shop legacy that their mother started more then 30 years ago. Their shop is an icon at Ramsgate of all things that bring joy and happiness in people’s life.

I was not surprised that Yvette came to see me on my last week at the French Cargo shop. She has always been supportive and was always around if I needed help. But her gift caught me by surprise because she gave it a lot of thought and love. The beautiful Christmas ornament by @jim_shore_designs which the Christmas store stock, was an absolutely precious gift . « It shows the love of the Christmas shop and French Cargo » and it was truly special and a gift that i will treasure.

When special people come into your life, that is a blessing. The sadness of closing my French Cargo store was duly noted by Yvette and she would pop in almost everyday in my last week to see how I was. She helped me pack boxes, brought me coffee and helped me clean up, even though her work schedule was super tight, she would always make time to cross the road and see if I needed any help. True friendships like that are hard to find. Please follow the @thechristmasshop and support small and local business. The girls do an amazing job bringing the spirit of Christmas to life.
Their store is filled with magic! ✨
Make sure you make a visit this Christmas. 🥰
I will miss seeing my beautiful Ramsgate neighbour ❤️
