是次大館對談非常榮幸能邀請到巴黎大皇宮暨法國國家博物館聯合會主席 Didier Fusillier 擔任主講嘉賓，並由法國五月藝術節執行總監白莫迪親自主持。Didier引導大家深度探討文化遺產與現代創意的結合，並分享了大皇宮在 2024 年巴黎奧運會背後的故事。特別感謝大館及法國駐港澳總領事館的全力支持與促成，以及各位現場觀眾的熱情參與！

Beyond Vision International (BVI) 非常榮幸再次與 @frenchmayartsfest 合作，為其年度展覽擔任通達夥伴。在這趟藝術旅程中，我們透過精心設計的通達導賞團與觸感工作坊，為視障朋友和公眾創造動人的共融時刻：

視障朋友不再只是「聽」藝術，突破枷鎖，透過專屬觸感圖冊與立體模型，配合導賞員精心準備的口述影像與講解，親手觸摸蒙娜麗莎的微笑與大師級筆觸細節。有參加者回饋：「活動很有意義，認識更多歷史，可以透過觸感圖了解文藝復興如及達文西如何去畫蒙羅麗莎的畫像。」

Beyond Vision International (BVI) was honoured to collaborate once again with the French May Arts Festival as the Accessibility Partner for this flagship exhibition. Throughout this artistic journey, we created meaningful moments of inclusion for both visually impaired individuals and the general public through meticulously designed accessible guided tours and experiential workshops:

🤝 Sensory Inclusion Breaking Barriers, The Renaissance at Your Fingertips

Visually impaired participants no longer just "listened" to art, breaking free from limitations; they touched the subtle lines of Mona Lisa’s iconic smile and the master’s intricate brushstrokes, using Tactile Graphics, 3D models, and docent's detailed audio descriptions. One participant shared: "This event was truly meaningful. I learned so much history and was able to understand Leonardo da Vinci's composition of the Mona Lisa and the Renaissance through tactile graphics.

Sighted participants also experienced art through touch, reshaping how they perceive it, gaining insight into the visually impaired community's perspective, and discovering that art's vitality can be deeply felt even without eyes.

💡 Given appropriate assistive tools and inclusive design, everyone—whether visually impaired or sighted—can equally enjoy art, delve into history, and fearlessly express themselves through creation.

🎨《香港賽馬會呈獻系列：邂逅蒙娜麗莎 · 文藝復興的再現》展覽圓滿結束

自今年五月開幕以來，展覽吸引來自本地、內地及海外的廣泛觀眾群，累計接待超過23萬人次參觀，反應熱烈🎉

賽馬會社區拓展藝術計劃及香港文化博物館教育活動共吸引了超過2萬7千位參加者，透過舉辦多場免費公眾講座、電影放映、導賞服務、觸感體驗工作坊及全息投影DIY，加上一系列展覽錄像節目，讓大家全方位感受文藝復興的藝術之美。

法國五月由衷感謝每一位觀眾的熱情支持與參與，以及各界的鼎力支持，讓展覽得以順利舉行！

🎨 【The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Meet Mona Lisa & Portraying the Renaissance】 has officially come to a close

Since its opening in May, the exhibition has attracted a wide range of audiences from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and overseas, recording over 230,000 visits🎉

Through the Jockey Club Community Outreach & Arts Education Programmes and the special programmes of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, we have reached more than 27,000 participants through a series of free public talks, film screenings, guided tours, tactile experience workshops, and the Optical Theatre DIY activity, along with a series of exhibition videos - allowing ones to experience the beauty of Renaissance art from multiple perspectives.

French May would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to every visitor for your enthusiastic support and participation, as well as to all partners for their generous support in making this exhibition possible!

李奧納多．達文西唔單止係創作出《蒙娜麗莎》嘅知名畫家，仲係一位精通解剖學、數學及土木工程學等多領域嘅通才。🧱🧱

達文西留下大量研究手稿，並以鏡像書寫而聞名。手稿本來係分散嘅紙張，有賴後人將其手稿整埋、分類、編製成冊留存，先得以令呢啲珍貴嘅資料流傳後世。《大西洋古抄本》係其中之一，當中以幾何、自然科學同機械研究草圖為主，而人體同人像相關手稿數量較少。🤸‍♀️

【How a Legendary Artist Do Research for His Art!? 🤫✨】

Leonardo da Vinci was not only a legendary painter who created the “Mona Lisa”, but also a world-renowned polymath exploring a wide range of fields, including anatomy, mathematics and engineering etc.🧱🧱

Along his life, Da Vinci has produced a huge amount of research manuscripts, famous for the signature “mirror writing”. Originally scattered sheets of paper, it is the years of effort by his followers who compiled, categorized, archived, and bound them into books. And the Codex Atlanticus is one of those collections, which mainly contains sketches and studies on geometry, natural science, and mechanics etc., with only a handful of pages related to the human body and portraiture. 🤸‍♀️

This exhibition is privileged to showcase four authentic manuscripts of Leonardo da Vinci featuring human figures, selected from the Codex Atlanticus, presenting the master’s research process on portraiture. 【Neon Interpretation Hong Kong Version of Mona Lisa 🌃】

Since its creation, the Mona Lisa has set a standard for portraiture, inspiring countless artists to study and imitate it 🎨. From the 20th century onwards, it has evolved into a global cultural icon 📺, constantly being appropriated and reinterpreted in new and diverse ways. The Museum has installed a monumental animated display in the Grand Staircase, blending Hong Kong-style neon elements with this iconic cultural symbol to create a one-of-a-kind Hong Kong version of the Mona Lisa. 文藝復興肖像畫的多重意涵（上）

《香港賽馬會呈獻系列：邂逅蒙娜麗莎 · 文藝復興的再現》十分榮幸能邀請藝術史學家范懿莎博士，為大家帶來一連兩集的系列短片。她將透過帶領我們穿越時空，探索文藝復興時期肖像畫的演變與重生。

在第一集中，范懿莎博士將由中世紀談起。當時肖像藝術幾近消失，取而代之的是高度公式化的宗教圖像。直到文藝復興時期，古典大理石雕塑與歷史文獻相繼出土，藝術家與權貴才重新點燃對肖像畫的狂熱。

展覽囊括了文藝復興時期多幅經典的肖像畫作，當中包括把贊助人巴黎主教畫進去的《受難圖》，以及身穿法蘭德斯富裕階層女性服飾的《抹大拉的馬利亞》。讓我們跟隨范懿莎博士的步伐，一同探索文藝復興時期的權貴如何遊走在「虔誠信仰」與「彰顯自我」的模糊界線上。

The Multiple Meanings of Portraiture in the Renaissance (Part I)

“The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Meet Mona Lisa & Portraying the Renaissance” is honored to invite art historian Dr. Isabelle Frank to present a two-part short video series. She will take us on a journey through time to explore the evolution and rebirth of Renaissance portraiture.

In the first episode, Dr. Frank will start from the Middle Ages, a time when the art of individual portraiture had nearly vanished, replaced by highly formulaic religious iconography. It wasn't until the Renaissance, with the unearthing of classical marble sculptures and historical texts, that artists and the elite reignited their passion for portraiture.

The exhibition features a diverse array of classic Renaissance portraits. Among them are The Crucifixion, which explicitly incorporates its patron, the Bishop of Paris, and Saint Mary Magdalene, in which the subject is attired in the luxurious clothing of the wealthy Flemish upper class. Let us follow in Dr. Frank's footsteps to explore how the Renaissance elite navigated the blurry boundary between "pious devotion" and "self-glorification.”
