I am over the moon to announce I am making my professional debut as Tzeitel in @fiddlerontherooftour !!!!!!!!

This is for my ancestors who sang, danced, fought in and survived the Shtetls of Eastern Europe. My grandmother Pola, the most wonderful Yiddish theatre actress would’ve been on shpilkes!!!

Please enjoy little eighteen year old me, so naive booking Yiddish Fiddler in 2020 - she had no idea what was coming… Fiddler has haunted me for six straight years and I can’t believe we’re finally here ✨✨✨😭✡︎✡︎✡︎✡︎✡︎ by @freyaboltman

Mim is me and I am Mim °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･
Being able to represent a queer, sensitive, sexual Jewish girl was something little me would’ve died to do and watch on screen. To do it alongside @serenameltzer my scene partner of almost a decade was a dream come true.

I am so grateful to @carlythebrand for creating Tali and Mim’s world and I can’t wait for a life long collaboration!!!

AND to be selected to screen at @britishfilminstitute 40th anniversary edition of BFI Flare: London LGBTQIA+ Film Festival as part of their Immodest Acts shorts program is only a testament to Carly’s vision and the cast and crew’s dedication.

I’ve known @lolagunnn since we were little ladies / babies and we both ended up in New York this past winter. We shot these at my aunty and uncle’s lush apartment on a freezing Saturday morning for one of her uni assignments and i am so grateful that she captured this era of my life. Forever holding close my angelic friends, family and community 🪬 beautiful heart, curious mind forever and ever and ever by @freyaboltman
