Gecko Make Intensive 2026 - it’s taken me way too long to post about just how incredibly invaluable this experience was! It was one of the first times I was back in a studio setting since receiving my ADHD diagnosis. To be in a room with such a vibrant bunch of individuals all of which I learnt tonnes from, to have the space to figure out all of my access needs with a studio full of support, to play, to learn, to grow with the aid of a company I’ve looked up to for so many years.

Forever grateful for this transformative expierence ✨ taken in Clod Ensemble by @freyabrowncreative

FREYA BROWN is THE SPECTRE.
Combining expressive movement with a striking screen presence, she helped shape a character whose true nature is best left unspoiled.

Freya Brown is a contemporary dance artist, actor and Rambert School graduate with a passion for storytelling through movement. Her work has spanned stage, screen and immersive theatre, including Mary and George (Sky Series), Romeo and Juliet by Matthew Bourne, award-winning, 5 star reviewed Tomfoolery Dance Theatre and currently is working with Tales in motion in Peter and the Wolf.

In Hollowed Dread, Freya had the chance to explore the darker side of movement, bringing her character to life through physicality. Creating a character where every movement helped build tension and horror was an exciting challenge, and one she thoroughly enjoyed. As someone who usually gravitates towards playful, character-led performance (and comedy!), stepping into the world of horror was a brilliant opportunity to experiment with a completely different style of storytelling.
