FRIENDLY FAUX RESURRECTS AT MIDWEST PSYCH FEST AFTER SEVEN YEARS OF SILENCE After seven years of ayahuasca sessions Friendly Faux is back. Their self-titled debut album was a lo-fi masterpiece, soon followed by Abandon Ship in 2015, then after two years of pleasing fans the band disappeared not to be heard from again until Speak of the Devil was released as a single in 2018. Was this a last spark or a hint of another full album yet to come? This is no reunion, this is a resting erec…I mean resurrection. This time, there’s something different in the air. It’s not just legal weed and everything bagels. Geoff Spall, the band’s frontman has been biding his time along with Charis Yost, the band’s Bass player and bagel maker, and Brandyn Morit, Drummer and the shirtmaker for Kanye West. Lurking in the shadows is a new addition to the band—a figure known as Bunjumun, The Behringer of Death. taken in Troubadour Farm by @friendlyfauxband
