Gladiator Gaming - TEAMS Sept 2026 26-27.09.26 Only a few weeks settled in to my new home, Brisbane AUS πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί, and already finding myself at one of Brisbane's major 40k teams events, G.LADS! With the help of Josh McGowan, T.O of the event, we managed to scrum up a last minute team of Mercenaries, appropriately naming ourselves 'Mercs R Us', and with myself as Captain to lead the team πŸ™ŒπŸ’₯ Our line-up consisted of; β€’ (C) Luca - Thousand Sons - Priority Assets β€’ Sam - Astra Militarum - Reconnaissance β€’ Luke - Orks - Reconnaissance β€’ Will - Space Marines - Take & Hold β€’ Josh - Aeldari - Disruption β€’ Nick - Sisters of Battle - Purge the Foe πŸ“Round # 1 vs Jaye, Custodes - WIN [18-2] - Fantastic game into Jaye and his golden lads. This was a green match up for me from the start, with Jaye not experiencing Tsons before, so I handed him a (fun) exhibition of the army 😜 πŸ“Round # 2 vs Memphis, Tyranids - WIN [13-7] - My first run into the triple Mawloc build, and I eventually got to see it's synergy unfold! Tremendous amount of mortals via ingress, getting around my invul saves, however after the big go-turn, it fell relatively flat and I was able to finish the job πŸ”₯ πŸ“Round # 3 vs Jake, Grey Knights - WIN [12-8] - It was the battle of the snapbacks! 🧒 Another relatively green match up for me given my psychic defence, however Jake played a superb game to claw back a great deal of points with his lone models uppy downy to secure solid late game points! πŸ“Round # 4 vs Jye, Necrons - DRAW [10-10] - This was an epic stalemate. You'd think killing 40+ necron warriors and 10+ destroyers would do something - nope. Reflecting over the game my target prioritisation could have been better to whittle down the regeneration, but an awesome game nonetheless! πŸ“Round # 5 vs Alex, Custodes-Sisters - LOSS [8-12] - My single poor pairing, what I thought was a fair match up was in fact a complete RED for me πŸ˜… when your army is psychic going into an anti-psyker army, can only expect it to go one way haha. Gorgeous army & conversions, this was a joy to play into despite the defeat! A fantastic event, superbly run with exceptional sportsmanship all round!! πŸŽ‰ taken in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia by @friendlyfire40k

Entering back into the fray! We have Nick J. continuing his run with Emperor's Children @darkfirecafe for the St Albans SLAM RTT, hosted on 05.09.26 This 22-player single day RTT had a wide selection of factions, however the Golden Boys #custodes took out 1st & 2nd place, and with our VERY OWN clinching 3rd πŸ† Well done Nick to reaching podium, with only a handful of reps into 11th thus far! Also, how gorgeous is the PINK 🩷 on this E.C. army 😍 [Highlights] β€’ Nick "Maulers getting into peoples DZs consistently was good, and the termies tripple tagging was a highlight" "Also pulling off 7x charges in a single turn - thats GG" Well played to all! #warhammercompetitive #warhammercommunity40k #warhammer #emperorschildren by @friendlyfire40k

Surrey Primarchs GW Golden Ticket GT πŸ”₯ [23.08 - 24.08.26] Our malevolent Prof Jambo and Dr KLoS return to the fray with their main factions; Thousand Sons, and World Eaters βš”οΈ The event consisted of 5 rounds, with a total 66 players registered, some loaded 🎲 drama, and with the top 5 being no double up faction which we love to see! --- [Highlights] --- Aidan β€’ "Game 1, my solo Juggo lord dropped a Defiler from top to bottom, solely by himself" - That's a spike!! James β€’ "Game 2, Magnus ignoring 4x volcano lances out of 4, and in Game 1 dying to an impulsor explosion - the duality of man" - Sometimes has too much foresight, full matrix dodge πŸͺ„ and other times.. well πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Big KUDOS to the TOs & ref's for running a superb event, and for being on top of the unfortunate drama that unfolded - prompt & well managed πŸ‘ #warhammercompetitive #warhammercommunity40k #warhammercommunity #warhammer by @friendlyfire40k

Whilst no KLoS can be seen, we had the big Pappa Angron along with his prodigy son Kharn instead πŸ”₯ [Highlights] β€’ "Playing against T&H... 5x times 🀣" β€’ "Last two opponents sayiny it was the best game they've played all weekend as well, so that makes the weekend worth! β€’ Aidan was also asked to sign a Space Wolf limited Ed Codex (Round 3 opponent), how wicked! Big ups to @gothic_games_canterbury and @voidstormgames for hosting a superb event, and we look forward to future events to come!! by @friendlyfire40k

Friendlyfire makes a splash πŸ’¦ at the #badmooncafe Friday RTT, 03.07.26 !! It has been some time since this gentleman has shown his face in the competitive scene, our astute Grey Knight, Joakim entered the fray at this 15- person RTT playing the new 11th Edition, 3 games with 3 great opponents! Overall 1-2 result, against phenomenal opponents πŸ’ͺπŸ’₯ [Highlight] β€’ Joakim: "12 battle cannon shots becoming 26, 12 autocannon shots becoming 20, and failing early all my saves was a total vibe" πŸ₯΄ (Pictured - opponents dice saves on his Defiler - not too keen to die from Joakim's wrath! 🀣) Big ups to BMC for hosting a superb event, especially on the Fridays to give an opportunity for others to attend outside the w.e's! taken in Holloway Road,London by @friendlyfire40k

New Edition, and a new UkTc event to conquer! [05.07.26] Birmingham GT, 2-day event hosting close to 200 players on the new GW layouts and a new opportunity to define the META πŸ’ͺπŸ’₯ Our W.E specialist & Khorne favoured @sg_paintsminis (Aidan) who handles the butchers nails like there is no tomorrow accomplished a sublime finish, achieving 14/198 with a 4-1 result - The Blood GOD was pleased this w.e. [Highlight] β€’ Aidan: "It was a chunky list, Kharl the Defiler scared everyone. The venga KLOS still f***s!!" Across three models accounted for C. 60 wounds - now that's chonk! Bristol GT 2026 - Wrap up! πŸ”₯βš”οΈ [23-24.05.26] @sg_paintsminis (Aidan) makes another splash 🩸 with his Mad Maxx themed World Eaters at the Bristol GT running his VoW list, including ... you guessed it... The KLoS!! Aidan sits down with @exalted40k (Dean) to provide an in-depth summary of his performance, round by round in full glorious detail. Bristol GT was a 2-Day GT, uKtc layouts 1-5, and consisting of over 335 players in attendance πŸ”₯ =====[Highlights]===== {Aidan}: "Playing live on stream, on Table No.01 for my 5th round with the opportunity to break my 4-1, and to face an incredible opponent, Team Norway international Eirik and his Emperor's Children. The game was full of epic moments, from a E.C T1 send, surviving that, then taking down 2x Defilers in a single turn, to my KLoS πŸ’₯ EXPLODING and dealing D6+2 dmg!! By the end of the game, Eirik was tabled, and almost myself too, but he secured enough Primary for the win- there was plenty of skulls for the Blood GOD! πŸ’€πŸ©Έ Congratulations to all the undefeated players, @charlesgould68 for hosting, the @gtlifeuktc team and to Eirik for claiming the πŸ† πŸ“YouTube link can be found in the comments below! #warhammerofficial #worldeaters #warhammer #warhammercompetitive #warhammercommunity https://youtu.be/0CPOD-nMm7w?si=zOmOp-9XRltMChnM by @friendlyfire40k
