Yes, teeth can move even after braces or aligners. The good news is most of the reasons are preventable. The biggest one is simple: not wearing your retainer. Grinding your teeth, chewing hard objects, worn out retainers, and natural changes in your jaw can all slowly shift teeth over time.

The bottom line is simple. Braces move teeth. Retainers keep them there.

Also check out that smile by Trevor Norris, it’s been going steady for years! 😂😂 taken in Frigo Orthodontics by @frigo.ortho

Are cheaper aligners really saving you money, or could they end up costing you more?

The FDA is raising concerns about unsupervised mail-in aligners, including risks of improper tooth movement, bite problems, and even tooth loss.

At Frigo Orthodontics, we believe a beautiful smile should never come at the expense of your oral health.

In our latest Substack, we break down the risks of mail-in aligners, why professional supervision matters, and how Spark Clear Aligners can help you achieve the smile you deserve under Dr. Frigo’s care.

Read the full article and schedule your complimentary consultation today!

But then again, we think we prefer him right here at Frigo Orthodontics, taking care of our patients and creating beautiful smiles every day!

We think he’s much better at that. Don’t you agree? 🎃 taken in Frigo Orthodontics by @frigo.ortho

We’ve gotta get y’all ready for the ACT, and Dr. Frigo is committed to helping all year long.

So once again, here’s your ACT Word of the Week: CONSISTENT.

Learn it. Use it. Remember it. And next time you see Dr. Frigo, work “consistent” into a sentence and see if he catches it.

Big words. Big impact. We’re getting ACT ready at Frigo Orthodontics. taken in Frigo Orthodontics by @frigo.ortho

🚩 DR. FRIGO’S 5 ORTHODONTIC RED FLAGS

Some are annoying. Some make your orthodontist question everything. 😂

🧊 Chewing ice
🦷 Never wearing your elastics
📅 Skipping your appointments
😬 Losing your retainer… and doing nothing about it
🚨 Taking orthodontic advice from TikTok

The further you swipe, the worse it gets.

Be honest… which one are you guilty of? 👀 taken in Frigo Orthodontics by @frigo.ortho

Can orthodontics actually change your face? 👀

The answer is more interesting than you might think.

Your teeth, bite, jaw position, and smile can all influence the way your face looks, and orthodontic treatment is about much more than simply straightening teeth.

We break down what orthodontics can actually change (and what it can’t) in our latest Frigo Orthodontics article.
