Intro riff to Onisma by @friisson.band - thought this was a good first video since I know to play it 😅.

🎸 @element.guitars Torche.

The riff is in Drop B tuning for some of that low-end with some odd meter action - 8/8 and 7/8 with the ambient clean guitar playing 4/4 floating on top.

We are excited to announce Sean Dundas as our drummer and third member of Friisson! We have known Sean for some time as well as his band @seanddundas which you should definitely listen to. He is a most welcome addition and we are looking forward to releasing new music with him ripping on the drums. Stay tuned. by @friisson

BTS of first vocal recording sessions for Onisma. Always fun to look back on the start of the recording process.

Some studio shots from the vocal recording and mixing sessions for Onisma. Nothing beats being in the studio getting the creative ideas dialed in.

Rhythm guitar tracking for Onisma’s breakdown section. This was one of the most fun parts to record. There are 4 guitar tracks panned L/R as well as 2 additional layers that were tracked with bass running through the guitar amp sims.
